Minneapolis isn't known for all that much..Best to my knowledge. I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the United States. We're a city of about.. 400,000 people. Pretty industrious. Minnesota itself is the "land of 10,000 lakes". Out of these 10,000 I've only seen about.. 20 or so of them. . We also have pretty harsh winters and are sometimes stereotyped in the same way as Canadians are (with a Canadian/Minnesotan accent). We do, however, say "pop" instead of "soda" (Who says 'soda'?! lmao). Anyway, I'm posting a photography-esque picture I took last year just overlooking the city, sort of, to give you some perspective. It's really a pretty place!

i'm from Baguio City, the Philippine's summer capital which is also named the City of Pines. there are a lot of landmarks there being one of the country's tourist spot, i.e. the Philippine Military Academy, Camp John Hay, several parks, and others.
here's a link to view them: www.cityofpines.com
