Hi guys. What is the best way to learn guitar? I used to play Organ until teacher grade and I stopped due to lack of time. However, I still have some music background and lately, been very interested in guitar. So what is the best way to learn guitar? I am quite looking forward to learn through online since I seriously have very less time daily. What do you think?

I think it depends on the individual learning. My brother had some music background too and he ended up getting a guitar as a present and he first taught himself to play by ear until he learned the notes on the computer.

More like, it depends how much the person invests time wise.

Their is no easy way to learn to play a guitar. Learn like a sponge. If you are dedicated in learn guitar less than a week you can learn all.

This is misinformed, It can be very easy to teach yourself how to play, hence it is easy to learn. You claim everything in a week. Isn't that pretty easy.

Are you sure you can claim EVERYTHING IN A WEEK. Then claim your earnings to mylot now. Since it was almost more than a week now.

Are you confused? You said a person could learn all in a week, that is a "claim" you made.

Different people has got different ways and methods to learn guitar. Some of my friends learn via friends, while some take professional guitar lessons. ALl of them turn out equally well. It depends on one's learning ability and the teacher's ability to let us learn well. Guitar is a nice musical instrument, luckily my bf knows how to play it.

The fastest way! Go buy a guitar! I received a guitar as a gift twice in my life. The first time I was young and couldn't understand the guy that was giving me lessons. The last time I bought myself a book for beginners, the style makes no difference when starting. Next I turned on the computer and went to YouTube. Marty schwarz!!!!! Guitarjams . Com. He has many free and easy videos on YouTube to get you going. Playing songs within the first two weeks! I spent months taking lessons as a child and learned nothing, from a very reputable teacher. Don't waste money learning the basics.

Set your goals what kind of music you want so you can get the proper tips ! At the beginning master the finger positioning and a little theory and the rest is practice ! Don`t get me wrong if you want you can learn a lot of theory but belive me if you learn something you better practice it or it won`t sound good ! Youtube is full of instructional videos and if you look hard enough you can find even complete video courses ( If not banned ! ) Personally i`m into RnR but Michael Angelo Batio helped me a lot with speed ! You don`t have to play like him i`m just saying he is a good teacher and easy to understand and for the music theory you can find that everywhere and they can`t get it wrong cause that`s the way Mozzart played the electric guitar and we all have to follow his example :)

i think the fastest way of learning guitar is taking video lessons of sites like youtube and other sites and the other main important thing is that you buy a software named guitar pro which is a tab reader which will help you in playing guitar and cover songs. i've been palying guitar for only two months and now i'm palying solos of pink floyd and playing as fast as kirk hammet.

It depends on the style you are interested in. If you are interested in Classical, that's a completely diferent discipline to folk-based styles such as Rock, Pop, Folk and so on. If the former, you will need a teacher, and reading music will be imperative; if the latter, you would be best learning the basic chords, such as E, A, B, C, D, F and so on, and combining them into chords patterns; then learning simple songs. The Blues scale is always good for Rock Music; it forms the basis of the Rock solo; as well as riffs; although you could actually start by learning very simple Rock riffs. Once you know the basic chords, and some riffs; you can teach yourself. The main ingredient is practice! Good luck!
