poems..will i be any good?????

I have always wrote poems about anything and everything, its something i do in my spare time or when i am bored but i have never submitted any of them on-line or to anywhere else due to thinking i may be really bad as i have never shown anyone else my work not even my partner! Earlier on i wrote a quick poem off the top of my head, it took me 15 minutes and i posted it on triond as i have only just joined them. would you be so kind to click my link see the poem then let me know what you think bearing in mind i did this of the top of my head in under 15 minutes http://authspot.com/poetry/vampire-blood-lust/

I like it, especially the ending. It painted a good picture and that's what poetry is about. I like how the last line leads your mind to him doing this again, like how scary movies often have an open-ending. It gives it a little scare quality. :)

gosh thank you, i feel a bit more confident to do this more often now, i can write poems about anything and everything just one of those things that i kept to myself. thanks for you comment honestly it really helps!

Yes, he is a poet. He writes a lot of strange things. He isn't my favorite since most of his subject matter is depressing to me. Maybe you can do a search for some examples of his work. The Raven, Telltale Heart are two that come to mind right off. Have a great day!

Not bad I checked it out. Don't be afraid to try something, especially if it's online and you won't know the people reviewing it. Also I like vampires that aren't in twilight movies!

Oh i agree the twilight films i thought were good when they first came out after i had read the books but then i was introduced to ''True Blood''!! The best vampire books and series EVER! honestly I LOVE IT!!!

Me too! True blood is my favorite vampire show. Can't wait to see the new season.
