Just how many "isolated" incidents of inciting and violent behaviour do you think America should put up with?

Telling people to be armed and dangerous, telling people not to retract, but to reload? Throwing bricks through people's offices?
You republicans and your apologists had ought to be ashamed of yourself.

With all the cries of "If we don't win the election we will exercise our 2nd Amendment rights", I expect some people (privately, of course) are actually pleased when violence occurs (only if it is violence against a Democrat). The crazies in the media (Fox, Limbaugh, Beck, Palin, and some others who are even more inclined to incite violence) have ratcheted up the level of hatred in their broadcasts and a lot of people really like it. What can you do? Hitler was elected, and was very popular in Germany--until the bombs started falling.
Ladybugmagic, you had another post up, about the shooting in Arizona. Before I could post a comment, it had been removed for guidelines violations. I don't what was violated but I saw it before it got wiped.

For once, I agree with you completely. People like you, ladybug, and other leftists are clearly THRILLED that these murders happened as it has given you corpses to use as political weapons. Your joy is clear by how eagerly you scream the names of Fox, Limbaugh, Palin, and Beck. Not one of them said ANYTHING to incite any violence, nor is there any evidence that this guy was a fan of any of them.People like you, ladybugmagic, and anniepa however haven't said a single word about mourning anyone before jumping at the chance to attack and blame those who you disagree with politically.
Congratulations, you got just what you wanted. Now you can revel in their deaths and keep using them as political tools.

I've read this in a couple places -- "Sure, they weren't connected, but the right STILL created the atmosphere."
I'm not trying to be confrontational here or even condescending, but can someone explain that to me?
I mean, either it is or it isn't. If it's not, then it's not. If it is, then it is.
How can it be "no" but still "yes"?
Am I the only person who thinks that doesn't make even the slightest bit of sense?
To me, it seems like lambasting and calling for an increase in airport security if a faulty gas valve on a jet caused an accident.
Seems to me the people in charge of maintenance would be put under the scope and future passengers would be left alone.

Taskr, it seems like your main goal in life is to spew hatred whenever you get the chance. Why don't you get a life and do something besides pour abuse on other people. All of the people I mentioned have been inciting their audiences for a long time. The guy that did the shooting in Arizona has no connection to any of them, at least not as far as I know. But they have helped create an atmosphere of hatred and abusive language. You help, too. Way to go.

I kind of expect people to see this from their own political perspective. I understand those who want to lay this off to an unconnected nut with no political connections. I also understand those laying blame on inflamatory rhetoric.
What I do not understand is the people who are laying blame on the other side and then claiming this is an isolated instance of insanity with no political connection. If you state that this massacre was the work of a wacko with no political connection, don't you dare turn around and call him a pot smoking left wing liberal. I have no tolerance for that hypocrisy.

I think the point those people were trying to make is that it's not a political connection to Sarah Palin or Sharon Angle BECAUSE he's a pot-smoking left wing liberal. I haven't seen anyone here claim he did it BECAUSE he was a pot-smoking left wing liberal. From what I've seen so far only those on the left have used the deaths of these innocent people as a political tool.

These people should not be doing this. However, you also cannot say that all Republicans are doing this. Sarah Palin is a loose cannon. I have not even seen a lot of this on the news...Why not I wonder? The Democrats should be on the bandwagon damning all of the folks involved. Where are they? By the way I did hear about the brick throwing, that was last summer wasn't it?
