I am a directseller & I get to receive brochures of the products I sell once 0r twice a month. When sale dates on the brochures are over, they are of no use anymore(I'm referring to their primary purpose, that is, advertisement) & tend to add to your home's garbage. I don't wanna throw them away 'coz they are made of quality paper so I made envelopes out of it where I could put discount coupons, pictures & letter cut-outs (when you have school kids cut-outs always come in handy). I also cut them in strips & used as stuffings when shipping delicate & breakable items.Gift cards ( the one where you write your greetings & the "to & from" thing)can also be made from these glossy papers but choose the ones with light colors & with no letter print & use designing scissors to give instant accent to the edges. I guess some of you out there have these kind of paper stuffs at home. I wonder how you reuse yours? If it's not too much, I'd like to know what other great ideas you have. Please share your ways of reusing these kind of material. Thanks!

I think it's good that you use them as stuffings for shipping purposes. I would usually send all the unwanted paper that I have to the recycling centre to let them reprocess them again. My 10 years old son would fold them into gift bags (sometimes used for Christmas gifts) and small baskets to be used as pencil rubbish bins. He can also make paper bags out of newspaper. I think it's good that kids learn about recycling.

You have a very creative son. It's nice to hear that at such a young age he already knows how to reuse. It really matters a lot 'coz even such a small act will have a positive effect on our environment. I hope he will serve as an inspiration to his friends so that they will also be encouraged to do the same.
