Religious Differences

Let me start of by saying that I myself am not a religious person. I'm very interested in understanding why people believe the way they do though. Wars break out all the time because people don't understand one another and fear them because of it. I believe that understanding other people, being willing to talk and listen, is imparitive in todays world. So I was thinking of trying to start research (possibly for a blog if all goes well) about various religions. Writing from a non-biased point of view (as much as anyone can) talk about each one, how they're the same, how they're different. I would need imput from a lot of sources, but I wanted to post the idea to get feedback and perhaps see if there are any religious leaders on here who might be willing to help me start. It's a very large undertaking but I think it can help a lot of people.
