It's so hard to find site seeing places to take some one when you live there

you would think since i live where im taking some one sightseeing i would know all the great places right? well no! i dont partically like where i live but some people would kill to live here.. its famous for things im not really into so obviously i dont know about those things since im not interested.. well a relative is here and wanting to see the great things of this city and im drawing a blank! im even having to go to tourist sites and type in my city to find things! its crazy..
have you drawn a blank when people want you to show them around to site see and you cant think of a dang place to take them?? is this normal or do i just despise where i live so much?? lol

I've been there. My friends went to visit my province. I had to think of a place to bring them to for them to sight-see. I came up after about an hour.
The place we got to hang out to was a spot at the corner where a vendor was selling finger foods.
You'll find odd places sometimes are the good ones to hang out with friends. Or is it that wherever you go with friends, you'll always enjoy every minute.

if it was more of showing a good time then i could take this person clubbing but this person wants to see like historical stuff or country music themed stuff which yeah tons of the country music stuff in nashville but since i hate country music i never went to any of them so i was like uhhhhhh.. its like after awhile you take places for granted that others might want to see but are no big deal to you..

I'm also not good when it comes to historical stuff even in my place. Why didn't you just take them to a museum. There, they can be walked through historical icons by an usher.

lol..oh yes!! But it's not because I don't like this place. It's just that we don't go out much unless someone's visiting us...and most often than not ...we drive out of the city somewhere then. I end up seeing more of places outside where I live than where i live...so I find myself blank too when someone asks me what places not to miss!!

haha yeah we took a tour of our city when a relative came down and it was like "wow we didnt know we had that" the whole time lol

I think you just despise where you live to much. I can think of two places close to where i live that i would take someone site seeing. They are two places of historical value...and since i know where you live i can think of a dozen places to take someone sight seeing to.

I think some thing is wrong with you or either you are so lazy person who even don't know about your own city.
If my friends and family want me to show the best places of my city I feel proud to show them the best tourist sites of my city along with the details and history my city.
So you must give up your lazzyness and take a round to your own city and discover it so you can not be embarrassed in front of anyone in the future.

LOL now that is hilarious!! pathetic you think insulting is appropriate when you do not know anything about me or my town.. i feel sorry for your ignorance..
i do not know the site seeing places mostly because they are all themed in something i do not care for.. why would i site see if i don't even like the topic? im not lazy i go around my city all the time but who wants to take some one to shopping or something when they want to see something only your city has? most things are far apart and don't take long to tour so it would be more of driving around than seeing anything for the 1 day
