JustHost or GoDaddy

Can you suggest me a better of these hosts. According to you, which one is better - JustHost or GoDaddy? I saw there that JustHost plans start from $4.95 per month. I want a one year plan which will cost $83.40 for one year at $6.95 per month. This is more than 3300 Indian Rupees.
On the other hand, GoDaddy offers the same domain name for just Rs. 550 per year. Why is there such a big difference?
Which should I choose?
Please help me.

GoDaddy is the only host I have experience with. I'm very happy with the products I have. They offer economy hosting plans that start at $4.99/month and you can often find coupon codes that will get you discounts on your hosting fees. If you subscribe for longer terms you can get better discounts. You can register a .com domain name with GoDaddy for only $1.99 for the first year, too. All you have to do is purchase a hosting plan when you register your domain name.
Try to decide how much disk space you will need for your website. If you don't need much, GoDaddy's economy plan would probably be good for you. They give you 10GB of space and unlimited bandwidth.
You may want to talk to the member who started this discussion about JustHost: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2449601.aspx?p=1 He says that they suspended his account because his site was using too many resources and that he had trouble transferring his site to another host. I think I would avoid JustHost based on that and some other complaints I found while searching for their official site.

Let me first ask you about your experience. GD is good for you is fine. But are you from the US? Will they give the same service to us - I am from India.
How do I land on the economy plan?
which resources are you talking about? Can you name a couple of them?

His must be a bigger site then. But if the host is offering unlimited bandwidth and disk space themselves, how can they say that a so-and-so site was using too much of the bandwidth and disk space. Isn't it wrong?
Anyways, thanx for the info. I am adding you as my friend. Plz add me as well. I hope you wont mind if I ask you questions again.

Yes, I am from the US. I don't see why GoDaddy wouldn't offer similar services to India.
You can view all of the available hosting plans at http://www.godaddy.com/hosting/web-hosting.aspx I use the Deluxe Linux plan. It's more than enough for my blogs and websites.
The resources I was talking about are server resources--things like bandwidth and disk space. According to the user who posted the discussion I mentioned, JustHost offers unlimited bandwidth and disk space but suspended his account because his site used too much bandwidth or disk space.

Read the fineprint. Godaddy offers domains for very little money, but you have to pay for each add on service. Make a list of the services you want, including monthly hosting, number of email addresses, shopping cart, spam filtering, etcetera. Add up what the extras would be for each host and then compare the final prices.

Do you need all the workers to have company email addresses or just yourself and any related webmaster? You can have several mail boxes, but then have "pointer" addresses that dump into the same mailbox. For example, if you are the owner and the webmaster you could set up webmaster@your site or owner@your site. When down the road you hire a webmaster, you can "point" that address to that person's email box.

But that will give me a blogger.com extension. Or won't it? Secondly, I am working on a professional website. Hosting should not cause problems for me. The credibility is important. And most importantly, I will be earning through this site myself. Will a free host allow this as they won't get any bucks from my side?
