I was watching the news a while ago and I was saddened because of the flood in Australia. Even here in the Philippines, it is strange that there is heavy rains late that caused flooding in the Southern part of Luzon, Albay.
It was said that a terrifying, tsunami-like wall of water roared through the streets of the northeast Australian city.
May this disaster be over and join me praying for the victims.

Hello hun, i am so sorry about the people who experience flood. Years ago in my country, Bulgaria, there was very strong rains and our rivers started to throw water out. We could see people who lost their homes, who lost everything they had because of the flood and i was so sorry about them. Usually they were poor people from little villages, who couldn't protect their personal modest homes and i could see that our government promised them some help, but as i know - no help for them because of the economic crisis. Soon after the flood i was in some villages and i could see the sad pictures there.

True, but if everyone of us was grown up enough to realize what is the reason for the alarm, nowadays society would have less problems, like crime, poorness, hunger and so on. We, the people, just don't learn from our mistakes, or even if you or i or 100 more people learn our lessons from our mistakes, that's not enough for any change.

I am Australian and lived in Brisbane for 7 years right where the flooding is ocurring right now and my thoughts and prayers go out to all those who are suffering at this moment or who lost everything. I now live in the south of NSW but I still have many friends up there and it saddens me to see their plight at present.

Yes, I have been watching the news about the floods in Queensland, Australia. This is pretty much unusual. It is so sad to see so many people suffering. Yes, let us pray for their safety. There would be international organizations like World Vision which would provide help to the people suffering. We can also make donations to those organizations to join in helping the people.

I've actually read this one on a news article over the net. I even saw pictures of some parts of Australia. That's really some flood they had there. I wonder how they'll manage to fix the damages. It'll be a lot of work.

It's a devastating story, the flood in Australia.
I thought, being a more developed country than our country, the Philippines, they couldn't be experiencing that.
Maybe the global warming and climate change was a major factor in it being so. This makes me afraid that maybe someday, every place in the world will be experiencing flood already.
