01-11-2011 what a disaster to start the year

and I do wish that it wont be the whole year of disastrous days...
Today, boyfriend lost his wallet with an amount of money in it plus the important documents like the Official Receipt of his motorcycle, receipt of his jewelries from the pawnshop, his drivers license, his nursing license and his SSS ID...
We went to the land transportation office and filed the lost OR CR but we weren't able to file one yet since we don't have any xerox copy of the receipt so we have to do affidavits first, problem is we don't have enough money to do all this things now since he lost every penny he has..
Also today, his sister from US called and angry because she gave him money to go to Cebu today but since he lost his wallet he wasn't able to buy ticket to go to Cebu...
Isn't it a disaster? Last year was not a good year for us and I fear that this year wont be either because it started the year this way...
did any of you have a disaster day today?

Bad start for the year does not mean it's gona be the same throughout the year.. haha =D Sometimes, a bad start is the beginning of good things to come.. lol =D WHen one is unlucky like that, how worse can it get in the coming days to next year?? hehe ^_^ Fresh year, brand new start and so it's time for him to change all those he had, except for u ^_^

My new year kick start with a big bang! First I won lottery on 1st January and on the 8th January I got the occupation certificates for my new houses. Today I went to see my lawyer about a certain money transaction and I was ask to call back tomorrow for the result. I am hopeful to get a positive result from the lawyer's office tomorrow. This year is really a year to look forward to.

Don't think that way. Just because your year was started by an incident like that, would mean that the whole year will now also be a disastrous one.
Just think it this way and believe it ; "When God closes a door , windows will also be opened"

Hi angel_of_charm,
I feel so sad and sorry for your boyfriend and you. It is really sad and unlucky day for you both. But just think that the bad day is gone just with wallet lost nothing more serious and panic, If he had met with an accident or something that would be more pain. I always think in that way and console myself. God is there to take care of all his children.
Do not worry about what has happened yesterday since already the day is passed and the bad too. Leave the yesterday there itself and start a fresh day with new beginnings and hope. What has happened is happened and we cannot change it. I advice you to be always positive and think positive that this New Year will bring all the joy in the world into both of your lives.

you are right, I guess I'm just getting too worried with things this year maybe its because I had wished too much that this year somehow will be good enough than the past years...
last year doesn't have anything amazing happened to me as well as the past years..I'm just too worried because the previous years started so bad that it ended up unfortunate...

Today? No. This is actually my second day of training. It was mundane, though. A little less fun than the first day where it seems we were having fun and games and were dismissed early. We were given a hint that it'll only get harder as the training progresses so I'll be getting ready for that. For now, it'll be just having fun.

sometimes it could be like that.. but dont worry not everyday is the same.. I hope something good will come to your way soon:)
and maybe next time you should remind your bf to atleast dont put every important documents in his wallet...
