Two Jobs

Years ago, for about two weeks or more I had two jobs. I worked from 11-2 at one job then I'd go in from 3 to 11 at another. Then I quit the 3 to 11 job. Now I kinda miss having two jobs. Also at the job I worked at from 11-2 a lot of times I'd come back and work 5-9. I miss doing that. After that I had a job where I was always working and it wore me out, but I really wish I could find a job or two that would work out where I could have an hour or two break. Truth be told I need money for a car, and also for insurnace... Doing stuff online just isn't going to cut it.
So have you ever found that something job related you did in the past, you start to miss?

I haven't had two jobs at once. I don't think I'm cut for that. I can take a nine hour job but two jobs at the same time is hectic. It won't give me any time to rest. And if ever I did, I won't miss any part of it. I don't wanna miss stressful situations.

I wouldn't mind having two jobs if one was say only four hours long and the other one was a bit longer. I'd have to have a few hours a day of rest between the jobs, even if that was just an hour.. No I couldn't do a 6-3 and then 3-11 type thing, though I would if I had to because I really do need the money.

Two part time jobs is hectic. I'd rather have one full time job.

The only thing I ever miss was the customers we had there. But you know you miss it when you spend time at home with your kids, especially when you hardly talk to anyone.
I also did hold 2 jobs many years ago. I worked 9-5 and then I'd work 6-9:30 I did that for about 6 months and felt comfortable in my own skin at my first job.

My first "real" job was at a stationery store, and I used to enjoy setting up displays.

i never experience working for two different companies. i tried looking for a part time job when i was still studying but i though i can't handle studies while working. and the more that i can't do it now that i'm an employee. i would love to have another job that'll pay 'cause it'll add up to my savings but i work at night and my sleep the whole day is not enough to gain my strength for the next day of work.
maybe i can in the future if i'm working home based but not now for sure..

I miss some of the jobs I had in the past. I worked at the telephone company and that was so fun. We took calls from and to all over the world back then. We placed coin call from pay phones, kept track of the time and then gave them the charge. We did hotel calls too. It was always different and the people I worked with were fun. I also worked at an answering service which was interesting. Took calls for doctors offices and all kinds of small businesses.

Working split shifts (after a fashion) can be handy. I guess that it depends how far your job is from home. I would rather work a full day at one job than be split between two.
I doubt that on line earnings do count for much. You are better off using your leisure time for just that, than spending hours clawing in a few cents.

Well, I do have 2 jobs per say as one is my own Business, and the other one is working for a Cab company as a Dispatcher where I have been now for the past 4 1/2 yrs. It does bring a lot of challenges as sometimes I do not get the sleep that I probably should be getting, but at the other end is is the $$ worth the challenges as well? I recently had to move out of the space I had my Business in and am now doing it from home so it aleviates some of the expense but now I need to learn to take more control to keep it going again as well.
Personally it is a time where jobs are harder to get, but I am sure if you continue to have a mind set on what you're wanting and willing to achieve to get there, then things will happen for you this yr. Wishing you the Best.

I had 3 jobs once. Not sure at all how I managed that. But I ended up burning out and dropping to just one. Its hard when you are burning the candle at both ends and thats what that amounts to. I felt I was just being a slave to money. I do work a lot now, but its only one job. I work 12 hour days 5 days a week. So that is enough but there are times that I am tempted to pick up a part time job but then just decide against it.

I have been at the same job for 12 years now. I often long for a break but if I weren;t doing it anymore..I think that after a while..I would miss it too. I had to work a couple of jobs at once when I was younger but the truth is that I still barely got by sometimes. I don't miss that at all..lol.
I hope you find something soon so you can get a car.

There was a time too were I had a 7-3 job, an on-call job at nights, and I was taking a couple of courses in night school. Although I miss being that productive, not to mention that profitable, I don't miss how tired I got all the time then. My weekends was spent sleeping all the time, which was not good because my kid was really young then.
I hope you find something that would expedite that car and insurance money. Goodluck!

I do miss the daily challenges at a job and the interactions with people directly. Earning online especially when you first start out certainly will not cut it to pay for all daily expenses and responsibilities.
Recently I started to do independent contracting so that I can earn some routine money I can count on as online money is not enough for me. I worked in the medical field for a very long time, and I do miss it.

This a a funny topic.i think it depend on your capital.if you need money, you have to spend more time on the job.i think it is a good idea to have two shift for job.that will maitain the contant. and when you finish one,you can continue to go on another.but i have to mention that you should take care your health.doing a tough job,you should not neglect your health.
