My daughters umbilical cord just fell off two days ago but there is some that was left on the belly button.
When your child's umbilical cord fell off was there still alil left on the skin underneath?

AS long as it is dried and not moist it is probably okay. The other part will probably come off later, but it wouldnt' hurt to call a nurse hotline (they are usually free services at local hospitals) just to ask about it!

I think that it is probably ok. But if you are really worried have your pediatrician look at it during baby's next check up :).
