What do you think of the Verizon iPhone?

Today was a very special day for most Verizon customers. The new CDMA iPhone 4 was announced. It is very much like the AT&T phone except for 2 things: It can now act as a mobile wi-fi hotspot for up to 5 devices and it is on Verizon. Many Verizon Apple fans refused to buy the device on AT&T because of bad coverage. Now that it is on Verizon the surprising thing is that it is not on the 4G LTE network. Apple says it is because it would take a major redesign for the phone to work on it. What do you think about this phone as well as the next iPhone? Have a good day

Uh! CDMA - have you got that right? Sounds like a giant leap backwards in time to me.

Yup, CDMA. According to Apple the Verizon customers wanted an iPhone now. I think the next iPhone in 6 months may be LTE. Thanks

Where are you exactly? CDMA is old, it's slow and not very reliable. It's what many mobile phones used before GSM was available. Are we really talking about the same thing?

I just read the article on Yahoo. The phone can be used on CDMA, but it isn't! Verizon is using a 3G network at the present time for this iPhone. Later phones will use Verizon's 4G network.

I do not know what to think of the Verizon iPhone because I am not a big fan of iPhone or touchscreen phones. I am sure other people has their opinion about it. I am also sure that it is a good phone but I rather have a phone with a keyboard that I can use with ease.

Many people do prefer a hard keyboard on their phone. I think the iPhone's on screen keyboard is really good. It's better than most touchscreen phones today. thank you
