Hello jhoycelicious and welcome to myLot.
You shouldn't worry about your yesterday earnings. MyLot has a 24 hour earnings period from midnight to midnight in the United States Central Standard Time. So based on time zone differences your earnings may not update when you think they should and when you post it may be a day earlier or later. You will usually see your earnings the next day.
Owlwings has already told you where to find the myLot advice on how to earn more.
I'd only add a few advice for a newbie like you:
- don't expect your earnings to grow from the answers you receive in your discussions. You don't earn from what others write, you earn only from what you write.
- myLot is a site for discussions. This means we are supposed to discuss here, and this is more than just questions and answers. Go back to the topics you joined to forward the discussion as much as you can.
- you can complete some tasks to increase your earnings
- you can also upload some photos into your discussions and into your interests to increase your earnings.

Read the FAQs under 'Earnings'. There are some very good tips on 'How to improve your earnings' there.

Yes, the more time and effort you can devote to posting and responding to postings, the more you will earn. Also, take a look at the "available tasks". Completing the tasks will enhance your earnings. There are a variety of tasks. You can choose the ones you like.

I think it's to do with responses to the discussions, I'm fairly new as well.
