I usually do all that but you put it in very nice words. The only time I left things behind was once when I fled from a tornado that passed a block away from where I was at Orlando, Florida. I always say tha Charlie(the tornado) made me leave my underwear with him. A niece came to pick me up and I just put in my suitcase what was nearer.

It is wonderful that some situastions can make us laugh after they are over I just wish all of them were like that one. It has become a conversation piece

Very good mantra, one that I try to follow too, with one exception--I try to leave a positive impression of myself behind, especially when traveling to another country. In this way, I hope to help shape the opinion of the rest of the world towards American travelers, and to view us more favorably.

Nice one! Are there any issues for American travelers? Here, they have not encountered any negative issues with Americans. There are some but not that many to affect the opinion of locals as a whole...

Well, some American travelers tend to be pushy or rude, wanting to be catered to all the time, or expect everyone in the country they are visiting to speak English. They also tend to leave a lot of "stuff" behind, although that has gotten a lot better now that everyone has finally realized the environment is important and needs to be cherished and protected. I have to say I have noticed issues with tourists from other countries, too, but since I am an American, I will only comment on my countrymates!

I love traveling to different countries in the world. I have a wonderful digital camera and it has a very good zoom on it. On my trips overseas I always take lots of photos of the landscapes, buildings and animals. I make footprints on the ground. I never kill anything and I eat a vegan diet. Last year I traveled to Vancouver and some other places in British Columbia.

I haven't heard this mantra before but I like it. It's catchy and cuts down on the bad stuff, I am sure. I have a hard time taking only photos though, as I like to get something to bring back for my family, and maybe some local foods to share with my coworkers as is customary.

I guess that would be ok... I suppose this goes to outdoor travelers. Take nothing away from the forest, mountains, beach or sea.

I love to think that I leave happiness to the people I met during the travel. I'm fund of new ideas, adventures and perspectives in life. As for taking pictures, I can't live without doing it in a travel. Of course, there must be something to look at whenever I feel bored or whenever I feel like partying in the middle of a festive crowd or at the top of the mountain - LOL.
By the way, some are just my imagination. I've only been to the regions in mycountry and not outside it.

I aim to follow them all the time. Do you? Really? How many innocent animals did you murder just for your lunch? There are other foods you could have had which are every bit as tasty & filling, plus a whole lot better for you, with a positive environmental impact versus a negative one & lighter on the hip pocket. Time need not be killed either, but should be used constructively to help others & yourself. We should consider these things more than we do now.
