Positive is subjective..: it is not the same for everyone. so my friend who played in a professional league for video games would not consider sitting in front of a computer a waste of time. =) To use your time positively, you first have to know what it is you want to achieve! But some things that are generally positive, I'd say, for most people... are to read, meditate, practice sport/fitness exercises, write down thoughts about yourself to know yourself better. =) And try new things! And if you dislike wasting time, figure out what it is that wastes your time and learn to avoid it! That's what I did with video games.... after I stopped playing to go to sleep, I would think about how silly/stupid I felt for having spent so many hours on something that I don't really care about! And eventually, I just wanted to stop all on my own - I just hated the thought of sitting down for hours and playing video games! Hope that helps alittle. =)

Personally I feel this is an issue we all struggle with from time to time and can be a challenge for sure. The biggest part is at the end of the day do we feel like we really got something accomplished, or do we feel like we could have done something more? For me what I have found when there are things I feel really need to get done to make sure I do them, I will make myself a list, and cross it off accordingly. But I have been known to be a procrastinator at times so learning to build from there is always Best for sure.

If you feel that you're not doing anything unusual during your day, try a new habit or anything new and get on with it. If you get bored with it try a new one or just go see your friends, plan an activity you might enjoy. It's really up to you to decide what you can do with your leisure time. Are you bored while watching tv all day or do you find it enjoyable at times? Maybe you need to spice your life a little if that's what you want and friends and family are really good company to make your time worthwhile.
