If this is true, and I have also heard the rumors, then Juventus will have a very strong attacking department. Luca Toni has demonstrated that he fits to the Juve squad against Napoli, when he played very well and was very unlucky not to score. He was the only one who has really fought against the strong defenders of Napoli. And we don't need to present Torres, everybody knows that he is one of the greatest strikers in the world. But the Italian league may be too harsh for him, because he is not a very strong person, he is more a quick and clever one.
But he is a world class player and if he will go to the "Old Lady" he will be a great asset for them.

Primera Division is a place where the tactics are not as important as in Italy. Look at Italian strikers and look at Spanish strikers. Spanish strikers like to create the opportunities for themselves, Italians only to speculate and finish the action. And the majority of strikers from Serie A are tall and strong people, who battle a lot physically. I don't see Torres as a physically strong player, he is more of a technical player. But if this happens, and he will go to Juventus we will see. I am sure that he will score a lot, but I am afraid that he will be injured several times by the rough Italian defenders.

Wow!! that would be one heck of a move for Juventus. But this is possible given the current scenario of Liverpool. Torres might just get disillusioned with all that is happening at the club. But I think this year is definitely going to be a disappointing one for Liverpool. And it would be difficult for Dalglish to hold onto his key assets during this difficult period.
Cheers!

Hi adhyz,
I do not think that Fernando Torres would move to any club this transfer window or next season. His current performance is not at its peak at the moment and Torres would definitely would like to prove his worth especially to the new Liverpool coach, Kenny Douglish. Even if he would like to move, Liverpool would not allow it.
Liverpool is in the process of rebuilding and losing Torres would be a disaster for this process. Liverpool does not have any reliable striker or forward in their squad. David Ngog and Ryan Babel is too young and inexperience to carry Liverpool flag. So, it is impossible for the coach or the new owner would like to release Fernando Torres to other club.

If Torres is to leave Liverpool, he will only join another EPL club or Barcelona. Given his connection with Atletico Madrid, I dont think he will want to join Real Madrid. Not offense to the Serie A but the league has lost its glamour and will not be able to attract world class players now.

I think that Torres will leave liverpool as he hasn't been playing his best and I reckon its because he doesn't have a good squad to play with apart from Gerrard so he will want to play with better players and start playing at his best again. However I doubt that Liverpool will want to get rid of him as he is one of there top players and they won't be able to replace him as Liverpool are not as an appealing club as they were for world class players so they will set a high price for him.
