I was talking to a friend on facebook and I asked him if he was already using the Mylot. He said what is that? I thought that every person know about this site but I was wrong.
I told him that this is more of a social network where people discuss a lot of things and also told him about the earnings you get here.
Then he responded "oic". I had no clue what to say further. what would you say in this situation?

You could have offered him the link to check it out.And if he or she is interested, they can register or get back to you for further consultation.Mylot is only 2.2 lakh member strong so you can really expect it to be a a very popular site like facebook which has 500 million members ,I guess.

I agree, adding a link you your comment would have been the way to go, that way he would have the option to check it out on his time.

You must remember that the internet is so full of sites for this and sites for that. People find their own nitch online and it is not easy to shake their resolve. I think you should find out first if the things you do on mylot are interesting to your friend. Perhaps your friend enjoys discussions and such or doesn't. Perhaps you can share some of the personal satisfaction you get. Good luck.

Hello!
Had I been in your situation, I would have explained him/her about mylot, without any hesitation. It is possible that many would not know about mylot, the world is very large dear. You see participating in discussions is not everyone's cup of tea. It requires some thinking process to respond to discussions and to start a new discussion and everybody does not feel like doing it. You need a little bit skill for 'writing' on any topic, even if briefly.

Even if you convince the other fellow, s/he should have interest in 'writing' and expressng his/her views on different issues.

Hi,
I got a referral through article, I never invited the person person personally, but then person is inactive from the day.
This is the problem when I get the referral that way, so I thought to invite friends from Facebook and I think I will face this situation in future also. Sometimes I feel that it is harder to convince the friends as compared to the strangers.

Hi sanjay,
More than online I do campaign mylot offline. I have already my colleagues, friends and students here.
If I get "OIC" type of lukewarm response still I insist that he/she should at least visit the site and tell me later on what you got.
With such approach I have brought many good writers into mylot. And I never give them the referral. Just give the site's name with the URL.

Hello,
I think that you have done the hard work and for that you earn the respect but you should give them the referral link and that way you also get the earnings. I know I am a little greedy but that is okay because this is the system here and there is nothing wrong with it, anyway I like what you said.
Thank you.

That's when you offer them a referral link if they want to check it out. You know we all love it so much - I appreciate the person who sent me the link even though they are no longer active on MyLot to my knowledge - oh well, I love it and it's their loss!

I would just have told him a little more about it and then said to try it out. He might even find that he likes it once he comes to the site and takes a look.

Well actually I work with a lot of people who are active online who have never heard of this site. And I am sure there are many on Facebook who have never heard of this site either. Actually I am sure there are many who would never be interested even if we could earn more than pennies a day here. If the person sounds interested I am talking about the site with I will share my URL with them, but knowing I have over 35 referals, and some of them people I know, it is hard to get people to want to be active in here. But talking about this wonderful site never hurts for sure. Glad you are wanting to stick around.

Hi,
It is a big achievement to get that number of people here. You should get the reward for it.

I know the fact that they won't even bother with money making websites because they just simply don't trust them, they will most likely think that it will be scam. If I have offered them to visit Mylot and they do not want it then I respect their choice, there's nothing more I can do.

You can probably tell her "you might want to try the site or you might want to visit the site for you to have an idea on what i am talking about."you can also tell her the difference between Facebook and mylot.you cam also give here some links of your discussions that will make her interested.you can also send her some reviews of mylot to catch her attention.those are just some points to catch her attention.if in case, she do not want,we can't do somthing about that.we can't force her.i have some referrals here, but did not post a singl discussion.we can not please every one.so let's just focus to those people who are interested and easy to convice.

okay.as what i've said,we can't please anyone.i suggest that you meet first your pay out here.that will be a good proof to them and you can easily convice them once you show your proof of earnings.

I don't do this work more often but today I was just talking and I thought of talking about Mylot. I just told the things about Mylot and that is all, rest is up to the friend. I will keep the work.

I suppose if he were interested he would ask further or like the first comment ask if you can send the link so that he can take a look. Most facebook members are not interested in discussing as they are use to quick texting on facebook about phrases.
Good luck and hope that if your friend is interested that he can be yet another great contribution to myLot.

Hi there sanjay91422!!!
I guess you can't blame your friend for not knowing what mylot is.Maybe he doesn't have an active life on the net or he doesn't use the net that often.if ever i'll be on that situation I will just keep my reaction to myself for knowing that the person I am talking doesn't know a thing or two about mylot.
Maybe his reaction is like that becoz he have a different interest or he is not interested with making money in mylot.Maybe he has another way of making money.Even my friends doesn't know about mylot.I tried explaining what it is to them but I guess they're just too busy doing other things in there life that they couldn't give Mylot a try.If ever you encounter people who doesn't know about mylot try to be more understanding.

Was it sarcasim that he replyed with? Sometimes that response comes across as kinda rude I would guess. But I would offer him my link and ask him to check it out. If he likes it to sign up as it has nothing bad to do with it and he can make a little money and even help you as well. Good luck. As I have been on here for years and never gotten any referrals. But I really dont mind. I guess I have not tried that hard.

Well i also have said to many people about mylot. There are two kinds of people and the way they respond when they hear about mylot:-
1) Some are interested at first but they think registration and all is a waste of time. However they register. They post at first like in a 40 or 50 discussions or so in a couple of days. But when they see that they are not getting much money due to the fact that they are not posting valuable information then they just chicken out of here saying to everyone that mylot is slow and very hard to earn in here.
2) Other kind of people are really not interested. They just want money the fast and the easiest way. Most are just the same. When i hear about them then they say that they want money but without work. What the hell!
Seems that guy you were after wasn't interested at all in mylot. I am glad he left. He would probably be a waste of another account mostly if you ask me. No offence!
Cheers!

Well, not a lot of people know about this site that is why after being such a great site and being around for more than 2-5 years it still has just over 225,000 members. I think you should have told him more about mylot and told him to join under your... As it would have increared your earnings after reffering him to mylot. Happy mylotting. Regards, harry.
