Any problems with computers?

I love watching movies online myself and unless you have a fast computer you are going to encounter problems when it comes to the streaming of video content. Here are a few things that I would suggest though. I'm into computers myself, qualified IT Technician, not that it does me any good at present as there just isn't the work!. Going back to your problem. The golden rule when it comes to increasing the performance of your pc is to go for as much ram or memory as your system can handle. This should increase the speed and means that your memory does not have to work as hard. I had two gigabytes in my system and I upgraded my memory to 4 gigabytes and this is the maximum amount of memory that my system can handle. I recommend a good website and they are www.crucial.com They are a good memory website and they have this free scanning tool that scans your system and it lets you know how much memory you have and how much memory you can install in total. This is where I purchase my memory from. When you mention your memory, that is quite low and I'm wondering if you have given the correct figure as you have mentioned 448MB. The lowest goes from 256MB then 512MB. I'm assuming you have 512MB but some of your memory is being used up and so that's probably why your system is stating 448MB. I would definitely check the memory website out. The other thing is, and I don't know if you do this, regular maintenance of your pc which includes the removing of temporary files, using disk cleanup as well as Disk Fragmentation. This tools are built in with your pc and I use these on a regular basis. These all help as regards improving the performance of your pc. Anyway, hope this helps. Good luck. Andrew

Hi Andrew, Thanks for your solution to my problem.You are saying that if only I upgrade my RAM then I can enjoy movies with great speed of buffering.Video sites like YOUKU,MEGA VIDEO ,VIDEO WEED,ETC.doesn't load quickly for me.But DAILY MOTION and YOU TUBE video sites loads smoothly without any buffering problems.I am doing regular disk clean up and disk fragmentation but still there have been buffering problems.
