Have you ever had a countdown for a day that you are looking forward to? I have had one for my graduation day from college, my vaations, and now for one of the biggest days of my life - moving out on my own. But instead of being normal and staying near home, I am moving across the country! So, I am getting a bit nervous but boy am I excited!
What about you, have you ever had a countdown for an event or day?

My life is full of countdowns. All the big days of my life I have an ongoing countdown in my head.
Even my working day has a countdown. I've downloaded a little program called TimeLeft which installs a countdown clock on my desktop. It even counts the second until I could get off work.

Hi HansonFan,
I can feel the unexpressed happiness that you are moving to your own home. And you know a home is a home whatsoever the features the house has.
So different local and new faces to come across and subdued observation of the people of the neighbor etc.
Once I had similar experience when my BA final exams were starting and I felt I knew nothing. But when I completed the paper and fared well I was the happiest person on Earth.

Oh yes.
I countdown to my birthday, Christmas, vacations, tv show season premiers ( shows that I am a fan of ), football games.
The list would continue out of control if I didn't stop. LOL
Looking forward to something is a good way to look past having a bad day. It's also can be inspiring to have an event to look forward to.
Good luck moving across the country. Are you from okla. "hanson"?
