I think everyone mean that religions are the things that teaches very good manners , but as far as i have seen it don't seems to be teaching Good things rather it is teaching Bad thoughts. It teaches that their religion is the best .It differentiates people by race ,caste , color etc . And first of all am an Atheist , i should told it before , but if i mentioned it in the starting ,many of religious fonder would have not read it .

Though I have observed that there are some different world religions that do seem to teach bad principles among their followers, I don't think that this is the case the majority of the time. I'm a Christian and have been all of my life. I've learned to love all people and be accepting of everyone because of my religious background. So, what we tend to see is the religions that are not tolerant are those that we hear about on the news, this isn't the case with all religions.

First of all, religion does not teach "bad thoughts." On the contrary, major religions, such as Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Buddhism, teaches their followers to be kind, honest, loving and law abiding. But ultimately it is people who decides whether they will follow the teachings of their religions or not. There are those who follow and there are also those who do not follow. And the few who do not follow are those that gives bad refutation to their religious affiliation. Their excesses in life gives religion a "black-eye." Does it mean that people outside of religion (those who do not believed in God) are more law abiding, loving and caring compared to those belonging to religious denominations? I think everywhere, regardless of race and beliefs, you can find all types of people, good and bad!

That is well thought. I would add that the real problem are not religions as institutions or "clubs" which you can join voluntarily, but the way they propagate their teachings through indoctrination of people and especially children, which is basically brainwashing. In my opinion, that should be considered a crime.

Religion is a catalyst that brings so many people's problems to the surface so they have to be dealt with. If a person feels they have God's backing, they will justify anything. Religion doesn't really know God. God isn't about ruling, controlling, and punishment. Life is the education of God's children. Believing has never been important to God. It is a must for religion.
