Long Distance Relationships

Is it possible to have a long distance relationship seeing your significant other only about once every other month? What tips do you have for someone in a l.d.r. to make it last?

I think that long distance relationships are hard. BUT that does not mean that we can't last the relationships. You guys should keep phone calls and you should also keep in touch with each other very often. If it is allowed that i think you should often meet. Other than the relationship would end.

Having had a long distance relationship I am convinced that long term one party has to move if the relationship is to survive. There comes a point where you either call it quits or one party moves so that you can be close to each other.

I think that its possible if you have all the elements to make it last...i have been into a long distance relationship before and now he is my husband, so I guess its really possible right? It takes two to tango as they say that both of you should have trust,communication religiously and love each other always without apprehensions.
