Oh, I too have the same questions.. I have an online job before but it was given to me by my friend, yes it was online but I never really looked at it in a website, it was given to me on hand. It was online though, facebook marketing but I don't know how to find good jobs around here too. I don't know how & where to look for the legit ones that can really make us earn real jobs not just a quarter of cent.. but minimum salary kind of an online job. Hope you found what you're looking, I mean what we are looking for & if you do, is it ok if you care to inform me too? I'll deeply appreciate it.. If I happen to find one too I'll surely inform you.. God bless us both.. (^_^)

And oh, why am I saying this? because most of the people that so called "helps" me on finding jobs doesn't really help instead we are the one helping them on their referral links & etc.. I'm a bit pissed of about it, so be careful.. :)

Hi there my friend!
I am a member of odesk and yes, you have to go through some test before you get started because most employers or contractors prefer those who undergone the odesk test. By the way, if you want a more direct online job, go for freelance or craigslist. Check on telecommute job or online/internet job. There are just too many to mention. Most of the jobs require you to send your application and resume or samples, in case you apply for writing.

I know what you mean, I'm registered at Elance and Odesk too. It's really heard to find jobs there especially when you don't have experience and nothing to show on your resume.
It's bidding so it really takes time before they can get back to you. I applied 5 days ago and no call yet. They need 5 data encoder and I'm 57th on the list. I'm not really expecting that they'd call.
