I like responding to discussions like this. Well, here they are (My top 5) : 1. ISIS 2. Cult Of Luna 3. Anathema 4. Radiohead 5. Pink Floyd Well I know, some of these band do play a kind of progressive metal, well I like them and they are my top 5.

My favorites are: Kill Hannah-They are a dancey rock band, that I love, especially live. I also love AFI, Mindless Self Indulgence, Dot Dot Dot and The Academy Is. Since you're new, I'm gonna let you know that you might want to post things that are a little bit longer and generate more of a discussion and not just posting lists. I think you make more money that way & are less likely to have a discussion deleted :)

"Rock" bands, eh? 1. Kill Hannah (agree with kel1483... AMAZING live band) 2. AFI 3. 30 Seconds to Mars ummmmmmm 4. The Birthday Massacre 5. The Dresden Dolls .... I think... it changes with my moods

1.The Libertines 2.The Strokes 3.Joy Division 4.Led Zeppelin 4.Pink Floyd i love them all and there were a few that almost made it, like radiohead, the cure, and babyshambles :D
