Do you think animals can be our friends?

I told my friend that I had wonderful dogs in my life. One of them can even listened to our telephone conversations and got to know when and what time I will come home from outstation each time. It waited for me without moving from the door until it saw me and the first one to greet me. It was a wonderful dog but my friend told me that his dog is even better.
He said his dog is able to answer his phone calls. He said he has a very unfaithful wife. So each time he left for work, his wife will call on her boyfriend to come to his house. He said his dog will pick up his phone call and answered him. He will ask his dog if the man came and the dog will answer," Woof! Woof!". Then when he asked his dog how long the man was there. His dog will reply, "oooo000". Then he asked his dog what they were doing. His dog answered "HeF!HeF!HeF".
Do you agree that animals can be our friends?

Yes definitely! Especially dogs, that are the animals I have most experience with. Not sure I completely believe the story with the unfaithful wife, however, but I have heard and seen dogs who did other quite amazing things!

Hi Puccagirl, when my friend told me his story, I could not help laughing. It was so funny. So I decided to share it with you all. But as far as my encounters with all the wonderful dogs in my life are concerned they are true and each one of them was very special to me. One of my dogs was able to listen to our phone conversations and had waited for me at the door on the precise dates I returned home from outstation.
These dogs had not only guarded and protected my house and family but had been so faithful to me that I doubt any human would have done the same.They were my life savers in so many situations, their love were so true and I could sensed their concern in times of problems or even when I was sick. The dog pushed it's way into the house just to find out how I was when it did not see me for days when I was having my measles and chicken pox.
Yes, you are so right. Animals can certainly be our friends. Even my pet fish, swam towards me and flipped it's fin the minute it heard me calling it's name.

Hi yeokeechui. glad you have a good laugh. My friend related the story to me in such a way that I and the other colleagues laughed till we cried. He said that he had put it great effort to train his dog.
I am an animal lover and I had reared so many animals. All of them were so special to me may it be rabbits, fishes, dogs, birds, squirrels, ducks, chickens or even a tortise. They have feelings and were so faithful. Their love were sincere that they caused me deep sorrow when they left me.It was so torturing to see them breathe their last breath that I decided not to rear anymore animals ever in my life.
