Another discussion, because i always forget to paint my toe nails.
My mother is painting them in the summer, because we wear a lot of sandals and other open shoes, but i usually forget them. What i do with my toes is to keep my nails in good shape, but if i have to be completely honest, most of the time i walk barefoot and that's one of the reasons to not like my f??t so much...
Yesterday i did them in red, like the polish on my hand nails and the result is just brilliant. What i know for the foot is that they are important, because we have a lot of spots there and if we massage them, we will relax and feel much better after the massage. So little more help from you will help me for sure - do you use creams to make your skin softer and polish there?

You speak of an area that I know really well.
My feet, toenails and heels are so clean, neat and feel like a baby's bottom. , another perk I get is that I get my finger nails and toes nails done ever two weeks for free.
Sometimes I am too lazy to drive over there so I take care of them myself. During my shower, I take a soft pumice sponge and scrub the entire bottom of my feet and heels. I dry them thoroughly and apply lotion.
There is a small beauty secret there, where as when you apply lotion, take a dab of petroleum jelly, Vasoline and rub together then massage to the entire feet and heels. By the way I use this with my body lotion as well, and every one who knows me says and knows my skin is very soft.
I remove polish every two weeks and wait one day then re-apply new polish. I have my toe nails polish all year round as when I look at my feet, toenails and fingers nails I feel really great.
Most people only do this during the summer, I do all year round as I am a very feminine girl and I like to feel good, especially when all else is not going great.
By the way, Suggar it is not good to walk around barefoot as you are prone to fungal and really scuffed dry heels.

Thanks for being so useful Hard Working, i know it's really good to walk barefoot, but i prefer the feels, my feet are more light that way and i control them better. I got problems with my bones and my legs hurt so much, that i can't describe sometimes. So little care won't be bad. Thank you again.

Hello Asliah, i admire girls who really care about the way they look. I'm not a one who does it often, even don't have lotions about it, but i feel the need of doing that.
Before i had better skin and it was not needed so big care, now it's getting different, may be i'm getting old

Well my mom does my nails for me but i keep them cut and well maintaned on my own. I do not add any creams even thought i do have some cutical cream i should be using i just havent done that yet. I like my make up and hair better then having to do my nails. Most of the girls around town have the fake acrylic nails but i dont bother with that stuff. I can paint my nails and have them look just as good even though they dont last as long.
I havent painted my toe nails in months and im not to big on it right now since its winter and my fet are pretty much all the time cold and i havent been wearing any sandals lately so therefor i dont need to paint my toe nails.

You are right, in the winter we don't need so much care, but we still can do something for ourselves, not to be nice view for the others.
Down the feet where you step every time, there is a lot of spots important for our health. You can try to make massage on your feet and you will feel the result minutes after the massage finish.

No, not really. I have pedicures on a regular basis instead. It works just as well, and that way I don't have to focus on it myself so much!

The skin around the edges of my toenails tends to dry. So, i always put baby oil or lotion around them in the evening and then in the morning, after i have taken my bath. That way it doesn't dry out much.
I also would have a pedicure by myself every other week. I like to the pedicure myself, so i can make sure my toenails won't get hurt by those cleanings. At least when i feel as if i have pushed out an ingrown too hard, i would immediately stop it.
I like putting on red and blackish -red nail polish on.
But on my fingernails, i just clean them but do not put nail polish on them. I was used to having it short and not painted ever since.

I used to forget to polish my toenails too, so I started putting the nail polish in the sandals. my mum keeps telling me to take care of my feet but I just dont have the time. I would like to go to a parlour and have them pampered but I dont like to touch or look at other peoples feet so it puts me off going there
