Here in Winnipeg, we're going to be getting another dump of snow that should accumulate to about 10cm. We just had a new tubing hill open up just outside of the city and I have to say, it's pretty awesome. You can go down the track by yourself or tie the tubes together and make a huge chain. It's fast and exciting, especially going down the hill face first. What is your favorite thing to do in the snow?

Usually we end up just up fighting in the snow, but sometimes we use an old rubber tube (with a few modifications so we done end up with a cold/wet behind :P) and fly down the hill. That's real fun

That sounds exactly like what I was talking about! lol The tubes that they use at this hill have a cover on it with a bottom so that you can sit in the tube and not get wet/cold. They have been making a killing with this man-made hill, charging $10/hr just to have people go down a hill, use a tow-rope to get back up, and then go down again...and again....and again.

That's just good business, monopolising an untouched market. Especially since most kids will get tired of it after a short period, so whoever made the hill caught a gem

That's what I'm thinking too.

Hi there Pennies to a Dream! I haven't really seen or touched snow since we don't have snow here in the Philippines but I've been dreaming of seeing snow ever since I was a child. I think that it would simply be making a snowman for me.

Because of your answer, I was curious about how it would be possible to enjoy the holidays without snow...so I asked: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2474044.aspx I hope you get the opportunity to enjoy the snow at least once in your life...but it's cold!!!

It's sad to say, but I'm Canadian too, and can't skate to save my life...well, that's not true. I can skate, but I can't stop. lol
