Having the first job, first interview and first salary is really an experience. It's a mixed feelings of ambivalence and fear. You meet your boss, the officemates and you meet deadlines as well. It's a different scenario compared to school, but definitely you'll enjoy it if you love the work and the environment! Good luck on your job hunting!!

Hi! Congrats in advance. I remembered i was too early that the office building is not yet opened when i came. Actually i was so excited on my first job and also i do not want to be late. The usual things happens when you are a newbie at work. I was instructed and introduced to fellow officemates. I greeted them all and a few more weeks i became a busy person. I learned from my first job a lot. one thing i can share with you is to love your first job as well as your first day. Goodluck my friend.

Well, the first job I had was after I graduated from college. It was just a temporary job for 2 days. I was asked to be a proctor and observe students while they examinations for certain subject. The pay was not that big but because of the excitement that I am going to get paid, I accepted it. And it was my first salary. I was happy.

When I got my actual first job, I am so nervous because I don't know what to do. And then, they told me that they will train me first so I can Understand how to manage things there. It was fun, I have a great time at work.

My first job was babysitting for a local church. It was a very laid-back job since we didn't have a lot of kids and the ones we did have were old enough to know how to entertain themselves. We did on occasion get younger children we had to keep a closer eye on but it wasn't really an everyday thing. The job was only three days a week for about 2 hours a day, so I didn't make a huge amount of money but I did get to start working and learn what it's like to care for children. They can be a handful at times!

My first job is one that I would like to forget. After I got out of college and took a licensure exam which I passed with flying colors. I then interviewed for a few jobs and was in the process of picking one when I went to mistakenly hired by a small company.
I only went there for an interview but the owner was so impressed with me that he immediately hired me right there and then. I was still euphoric with the offer that I cancelled my other interview schedules.
As it turned out, I hated that job and was only there for 3 months.

Actually for me it was exciting. My first job was a part-time, since I was graduating high school and had already enrolled in college, so I wasn't able to get a full-time. It was a car dealership as a receptionist, I was so excited that I was actually making my own money, even though it wasn't much but it was enough for me to be able to do my things and avoid asking my mom for anything.
The job was great at first, I even got promoted and I acquired a full time job after I had settled down in college and got comfortable. Luckily the job allowed me to go to college during the day, since the shift started at 1PM.
I wish you the best of luck in your first job, trust me it's a memorable experience, especially when you get that first check, that's the best feeling!!!

Hey congradulations on your first job. Welcome to the wonderful workforce. Having your first job is like a rollercoaster ride of emotions, been there-done that. I actually own my own business now. I will tell you, don't try and make freinds, let them come to you. Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. Keep a positive attitude at all times. John Lennon said it best "there are no problems, Only solutions". Dirive all the knowledge you can get from what you do and use your knowledge inspire you to achieve your goals. Most important....Be Yourself because thats who you are. Good Luck to you....
