I've been working for 17months in this company, and i can say that i have not gained friends but a second family. Being the head in that office, i was able to join the admin and technical support team. we enjoy working with each other because i treat them like we are all equal and i don't put pressure with their work, i motivate them so they can do better. our office is operating well because we support and help each other. But as time passes by, the company's administration is getting worse and we don't have a choice but to move out and resign from our jobs. i too have decided to resign, but holding plenty of projects at the same time, i think i'd need more time to be able to finish them. one of the boys also wanted to resign and is only waiting for his interview result in another company. i don't make hold of their decisions leaving, i support them becuase i too know what our lives will be if we stick to that company. i encourage them to leave, explore the world outside and not permanently cling to a no-assurance company where they just use you for something. moving on to my staff, it was quite unexpected and so sad on my part because she's been an asset to the company. she contributed a lot to the success and she's been a dedicated and hardworking employee. i'm sure we'll miss her and she too will surely miss us because we really have created a different bond- a family that is! I was saddened by that incident but i know it's for the better. finding new job outside this prison company is like having your freedom to be successful and be yourself, not like robots controlled by their masters. I'm so proud of my team and i know this is not the end of our friendship, this is only the beginning.
ever encountered same situation like this?

That always happens to any company. You cannot please everybody. No matter how close you and your office mates are, but when an aspect of the company is not to their liking, then they would surely try to find another job that will really suit tehm in all aspects.
When that happens, we can only support them because it's for the betterment of their career and lives.
