If you could travel anywhere...

Where would you go and what would you do if money wasn't an issue? What attracts you to your destination? I think that I would love to go to Venezuela. I would charter a helicopter to fly me to the top of Angel Falls, which is the tallest water fall in the world (3,212 ft). I would then like to be lowered down to the bottom and stand in the mist. The falls are so high that most of the water is blown away and turns into a gentle mist.

Wrestlemania Week. I'm a big fan of the WWE and I really want to attend one of these. It's full of appearances by the Superstars, the Hall of Fame, Wrestlemania, etc. I can't give a specific location since it changes every year. But a location close to Maryland would be better for me.
Disney World. I have never been there and it looks like it would be a lot of fun! :)

Thank you! :)
Both will be awhile off for me.
I live in Maryland. There is a rumor that Wrestlemania 30 [we're on Wrestlemania 27 right now, it's once a year] will be in New York City. So if it, that is the closest it will be coming to me in the next three years. It gives my friends & I more time to save up, but it feels like it'll be forever before it gets here lol.
Disney seems way expensive, but I'd love to go in the years to come. I wouldn't feel right going without my family though.
I hope you guys have a lot of fun at Disney World! :D

That sounds like it would be a lot of fun. Hopefully, you'll be able to go sometime in your life. My wife and I are planning to save up for a trip to Disney World to take our daughter, but that's a long ways away. lol

My cousin went on a work exchange for 1 year to Australia and New Zealand, where he did peanut farming for 6 months in each place. He came back so tanned and he had developed an accent. He said it was one of the best experiences he's ever done. I too would love to see all of the ruins in the world. I think that visiting the Maya temples would be exciting, as well as the Seven wonders of the world.

If money wasn't an issue I would be able to visit all the places on my travel wish list. I would fly off to the Philippines to do some island hopping and snorkeling. I would go to Cebu island by plane to begin my trip. I would be able to fly off all the way to South America. There I would love to visit Cartagena De Indias in Colombia, Machu Picchu in Peru, the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador, Rio De Janeiro in Brazil and my friend in Chile. I would love to fly down to Madagascar and go to see some of the wildlife. I would fly to India to see the Taj Mahal and to China to see the Great Wall of China. I would go island hopping beginning in Tobago and ending in Jamaica. I love to spend time on tropical islands so I can see palm trees and white sandy beaches. I enjoy watching the native wildlife. I am very keen on seeing attractive looking architecture. I like a hot and dry season in a tropical country.

My dream vacation has always been to go to a waterfall as well. However, the waterfall would flow into a big pool of water where I could swim. It would be a hot secluded island where no one else was around. And warm enough to stay in just a small grass hut.
However, unlike you, I have not been able to locate a place like that yet. So, I don't really know if I could afford it or not. I have only seen places like that on television programs and movies, so I don't even know if they really exist.
Interesting discussion you have started here. You really got my mind to wondering.
Have a great day!

Thanks, it is a fun discussion, isn't it? :) I'm sure if you keep looking for that location, you'd be able to find something that would be just wonderful to experience. When you find a location, that's when you could start planning to find out costs to see how much your dream vacation would be. I've never been on any really great vacations like this and it'll probably be many many years before I could start to even save for it. lol But, keep the hope and dream alive.

I miss the snow in Beijing. For now I wanna got to the Swiss Alps. I wanna learn how to ski and snow board there. And while at it, I wanna visit Zurich and Geneva as well.

Yeah! I remember dreaming to go there when I was a child. But now I knew that there is a place nearer where I can learn how to ski, Switzerland skipped my mind. But given the chance and money, I will definitely go there...

Maybe I should have rephrased the question: If you could take an ALL expenses paid trip (including activities there), where would you go and why?
