Those who are student, they are facing many unwanted problems in their educational institution.Sometime if a teacher does not like a student then he/she will harass the student whenever he/she gets a chance. But I really dislike it.The duty of teacher is to teach the students, not to harass them. What is your opinion toward this point?

Different teacher have different teaching method, just like when we were young as a small kid, most of us had gone through the *my parents don't love me* period. These are just preliminary judgement, as time goes by, you will soon realize that all these scolding and teaching is just another way to grow you up.
In another case, i'm not sure about your teacher, since i don't know him/her. Intentionally harassing student is of course not a good act by any cause. However, if we just take a step back and take a bird eye view on the situation, whether she harass you in for you to perform better, or intentionally make you uncomfortable as a bad teacher. If so, just go up and report to any higher institution, principle or university rector. No problem can't be resolved.
Good luck and happy mylotting

Teacher those who harass students, usually they have some good backup in the institute otherwise they will not try to harass. Many of these know that if they continue to harass student they will not be punished even they will not called by authority. These are those teachers those who treat student as their competitor.

When I was in college I experienced all kinds of harassment from the professors. As a freshman student, i was shocked and didn't know how to handle things then. But then I realized that I only get harassed because I gave them the opportunity to do so. I learned their technique and was able to find out. When a professor tried to harassed me one more time, I fought back by giving an intelligent answer. He was shocked but after that he seemed to like me more.
Confidence is the way to face this kind of situation. WE shouldn't draw negative things toward us.

Hi there Shgnsh!
You're right. Since we're all unique and usually a teacher handles minimum of twenty students in a class, there are always conflicts of personalities and there are people that we comes to dislike. It should not be the case for teachers. As teachers, even though we are human and sometimes, we just don't like some persons, but as a teacher, we are professionals and we should be able to handle our emotions well. We should be partial and treat all our students the way that they should. I think that any untoward incidents of mistreatment should be discussed with concerned persons in the presence, and as mediated by a person of authority.

Thank you for giving your opinion. As a human being a student can make some mistake but it is not good for a teacher to harass a student for that mistake.Because teacher are superior than students and students are willing to learn something from teachers not to be harassed.

Sad thing is this actually happens. Harassments are present on almost every universities and schools. It could be mild but still can be counted as one. If you get harassed just file it immediately. Don't think twice.

It is quite weird, isn't it? It is easier for a teacher and a student to build a romantic relationship through the course of teaching. Most younger girls develop such admiring feeling toward their professors, or teachers. Why? What is their psychological thought about this? They like older man, intelligent and most professors are funny too. Are these the factors?

Harassing the student is not welcome. If harassment is proved the teacher ought to be punished by the school management.
