i love milk and i consume more than 5 cups everyday. haven't had any single day that i forgot to drink. i work out and do a lot of exercises and i think milk can give all the nourishments my body needs. good things are i don't need to consume more solid foods like high in carbohydrates or anything... my milk consumption, is it normal? any ideas?

I used to drink loads of milk and particularly liked drinking it cold from the fridge. This was when I was a kid and my mother often used to object to it, because I would invariably cause a shortage and a visit to the store was needed to get some more. _Derek

I think it is great that you drink milk, cause it is full with Calcium, And Calcium is great after exercise cause while we exercise we "breaking" a little bit our bones and after eating and sleeping good me building it more.
About normal i didn't hear yet a bout some one that count how many milk cups he drink, but i think it is o.k. :)

I don't see anything wrong with the amount you consume. Though you will be fine if you drank less and increased your water consumption. I have to take a supliment for vitamin D as I don't drink as much as I should and since I live in a climate that gets cold and cloudy winters you don't get to enjoy any benefits from the sun in creating vitamin D in your body.

i see i could conclude therefore that as a whole it is just all right. climate plays an important role too and with the inclusion of course that i am more out doored with a lot of extra-curricular activities that i am up with every thing will be just fine. no i don't take any food suppliments or vitamins as every time i take, side effects will occur like growing of pimple-liked on my body especially at my back!

zills if it doesn't make you fat the it must be okay. I would
think three glasses a day would be plenty though as its
nolt a complete food there are other things you need like
fruits and veggies that have what milk does not and also you
need more protein than milk alone can give you. best not to
go overboard on any one food.No you are not normal and you
are cheating your body of the vitamins and minerals you
get from vegetables and fruits.Milk alone will not do it
Yow are an adult not a baby

but i have a lot of extra curriculars you know. i think i burn what i drink. and i am not fat nor i am not gaining any weight from drinking milk. also, i don't use to eat lot of solid foods like meat and carbohydrates. i admit i have to add fruits and vegetables on my diet as i don't use to eat much of them.

I think, if everything is too much is not good for health, although milk is good for our health, i suggest you drink it only 3 times a day, I also drink milk with chocolate....delicious....

I've known some people who drink that much milk. I personally don't drink milk at all and have considered trying to cut out all dairy from my diet. It is not good for my stomach. Dairy products are so processed. I don't believe they are as essential as people claim.
