Last Friday, I went to meet my elementary classmates to plan for our batch mates reunion. On the same day, my highschool classmates has another reunion in another place.
I believe we ought to give an award to the creators of Facebook. They helped us a lot to get in touch with our long lost friends. Also, the way we get to know how's the welfare of our far away relatives is now a less worry for us all.
How about you? How did FB benefited you?

Hi Poshpal. I don't think they can bann fb. It is very popular now and it has many users already. I'm sure they will not go against the masses. And banning it would be like violating the law on freedom of expression or press.
See you around.

Thanks for sharing besthope44.
I also learned that some of my classmates are already working abroad. Good thing we had facebook. Without it, we might have totally lost communication with them.
See you around. Happy mylotting.

I've certainly benefited from Facebook! I was skeptical of joining at first, but once I did, I was hooked - and glad I joined the bandwagon! I've gotten in touch with so many people that have crossed my path - from elementary school to college to work and everyone else including family! Had it not been for Facebook, I don't know that I would have taken the time or energy to even try locating many of these people. I'm glad I found many of them - some are friends now, some are just faces on my friends list. In any case, it's been fun to reconnect with folks from the past (and of course in my current life). It's a whole lot easier than emailing people individually - I can post my "news" for all to see - and read about everyone else's business in one spot too! Yay for Facebook!

That's nice. The same thing happened to me. I now rekindled old relationships like my friendship with my elementary classmate. I also got reconnected with my cousins.
You are right about posting your status. That way, you don't have to write everyone as to what is happening to you.
Thanks for commenting.
