This morning, I suppose go to the nearby supermarket to shop for some beverages and vegetables, I was too paranoid when I saw those ice still on the road. Due to the impact of yesterday accident. I still want to play safe, and not willing to accelerate my car on such dangerous condition. Many people just drove past me, or they might come too close which make me worry too. Anyhow, I just hate winter, I hate snow days. Which makes the street not - drivable. Cause too much damages and car accidents. We should have snow day off.

Hi.... about what you said about "winter" is, we can't do anything because its nature. The good thing to do is be carefull enough in driving to avoid accident. Don't mind other drivers driving fast. They don't anticipate what might happened to them. They will just realize what they did( driving fast on the ice/snow)if something bad happened to them.

Even though I've spent most of my life living in the northern US where it typically snows from October until early April or even as late as May, I have a very difficult time driving in the slushy snow and ice. I'm very terrified of it, after having to crash a borrowed car into a ditch to avoid another vehicle that slid oncoming into my lane at 60 mph. I hate the slush and cold.. just bleugh. I wish that public transportation could be free in winter.. lol

I am extremely terrified when people trying to pass me and driving too close to my vehicle. There are high chance that they might lose control of their cars. People just driving crazy these days and they never consider the safety of others, regardless of their own.

I agree with you. Ice scares me too and I no longer drive on it. When I was young nothing scared me and I drove everywhere in any condition, but now that I am older a lot of things scare me. I have learned that usually it is the other cars that cause the accidents because they are trying to drive normally on bad roads and really don't know how to do it. So I just stay home or get my husband to drive me. Since I am retired it is easier for me to stay at home. I feel sorry for people who have to work and don't have much choice other than to drive those dangerous roads.

Early hours of the day are probably the worst for driving on icy roads. i usually make my appointments for late in the day so I have to drive on icy roads. As the sun comes up the icy will melt so it is easier going. I just hate Winter also. Nothing good about it. It is so depressing and dark. My S.A.D. is in full state right now.

I know what you mean. i don't like driving on icy roads myself. I slid into a guard rail on an icy road a few years back. that was enough for me.

hi, having snow is also a problem, because its really dangerous to drive at slippery snow road. that is the disadvantage of having snow at their country.

Yeah. unfortunaly, there are too many of them for a budiness to close every time there is an icestorm. But don't let those people get tot you. If they want to pass you because they think you're driving oo slow, let them. I was once driving on a sheet of ice and to the rightt of me there was a lake. I was driving REAL slow. he guy behind me honked his horn. I thought "forget it, I'm no5 speeding up just because he wans me to. He finaly did pass me up and I thought, "good. Now you can go as fast as you want. I hope you ge inito an accident! I live in Michigan and i also hate winter. I hate the icy roads, I hate the high heating bills and I hate shoveling the driveway, which I'm going to have to do in about a minute. And I MISS BASEBALL!
