Hi,friends,I have a question,do you believe horoscope.
At first,I don't believe it because I think it is lack of scientific support, just some superstitious activities, but later,I found it really work.
I am a libra boy,I compared my personality to the libra's personality,I was surprised to find that I am really a typical Libra boy,my personality is nearly just the same as Libra's standard personality.I see some dayly, weekly horoscope and find it really predict my fortune and unfortune,so I start to believe horoscope.
What about you,my friends??

I don't believe in it, and u don't believe too much into it as well. Predictions in those horoscope is just a general guideline for everybody whom fall within that group. IF it concides with whatever happened to u on that day, it's purely concidental, don't read too much into it. U will know it's true when it predicts that all libras will have windfall, but when u ask around, there's nobody. That's will be the time for u to wake up from it.

I don't believe in horoscopes, but I don't judge people who do; they have a right to their belief sources and I do. I practice pray and don't count on someone to tell me my future, I live a Christian life, therefore I believe that God takes care of my future.

Just because you don't understand the science doesn't mean that there is no scientific support. Regardless, I do believe in astrology. I don't really believe much in the horoscopes, unless they are specifically done for a specific person. Otherwise, I don't see how anyone could say that a group of people that big would all have the same sort of day.

I never said the descriptions of personality traits didn't work. I think the actual horoscopes that you see in like woman's weekly or whatever those magazines are, seem like random things to me, just like a fortune cookie, vague and pointless.

I have done a little work on this topic and I have also found the same results as you have. I kind of believe in it now.
I don't know if it is some kind of psychic affect but I also found that my personality is according to my horoscope. I am a Sagittarius and it matches to me.
I also have read about my numbers, if you are interested then you can get a link from me to read more about your number.

Does my number means my birth date,in China, there are a lot of theory to explain the meaning of your birth date,in old Chinese culture, before marriage, parents will send both husband and wife's birth date to some place or someone who work in this field to see whether they are suit to get merry,it is very interesting.

You are right, I talking about the birth number here. Your birth date numbers are added to get a single digit number and then you can note it down.
What else you can do is find the celebrities with the similar number and you will find that there is a similarity between your personalities.
If your personality doesn't match there still you can make that person your ideal and I am sure you will learn many things from that personality.
I think it works.

No.. I do not believe any kind of horoscope or future telling. My religion is strictly against that.
People should not be limited to something. if you have been told that your finance are bad this weeks, people will got their stamina decreased and led to the bad financial situation, this will lead him believe the horoscope, and thus the circle begin again. it is what on your mind. My religion promote human to achieve their best even at the worst situation, not based on how other people told you. Human lives is too valuable to be controlled by other peoples game.
I was fascinated in my childhood, I even know lots of method, but now I abandoned them all and I could break the chain and realize that I have cut off the strings. I am free now. If somebody said that I must not go in particular day because it is bad luck, I will still go. If some one said that black cats bring bad luck, hey, I have two pets, both of them totally black cats.

i belive in horoscopes :) i'm a gemini and my personality closely match the gemini traits, hehe. also, my horoscope helped me before when i was making an important decision. sounds silly, but this is true. i was bored with my work and i was thinking about quitting and moving to another company. i was still happy with my work but i wanted a new challenge. one morning i told myself that i'll let my horoscope for that day decide for me. my horoscope said that i should seek greener pastures, so i submitted my resignation letter shortly after that. my manager asked me why i was resigning so i told her about the horoscope. she just laughed and laughed, which i thought was a little rude, but then she told me that i should take back my resignation since she wants to send me overseas for a new project. i was not even considered for that post if i didn't even resign. so thank you gemini! hehe :)

HI I have found the write up for my sign to be very accurate as I re ally fit the scorpio write up but as for the fortune giving no not really as this is a lot of guessing and a lot of superstition too. I believe we hold our own futures in our own two hands instead of a horoscope predicting any thing. If what they predicts comes true to '
me its still just coincidence nothing more.

Thanks for posting this topic although I think there have been previous posts like this.
Well going back to your question "Do you believe horoscope?" my answer is NO. NO, I don't believe horoscope and this is what my Christian faith taught me. Why should I not believe horoscope? This is because Horoscope or Astrology is contradictory to the Bible. Here are two things which make it contradictory to the Bible. First, it promotes faith in something other than God and this is divination which the Bible forbids. Second, Horoscope Wis not the guidelines which determines our life and our future. The stars and the planets has nothing to do in determining God's will for our lives. I would rather read the Bible which is where I could accurately see God's will for my life rather than read the Horoscope and be deceived by all the man-made predictions and advices which have no biblical basis at all. Horoscope is another strategy of shrewd people to make money out of ignorant folks who believe this big folly.

Hiya auyuelin,
Up to a point I do believe it but only the serious kind a personal horoscope done especially for you and not one of those mass produced ones which are so very frequent.
Most of those Horoscopes online and in Magazines never come true at all or if they do I reckon that it is just by chance.
Just by chance I had one or two that echoed my circumstances but nothing more than that and again I am sure it was just chance as there are millions of us in the World so they cannot know about all of us.
Also we are all born on different Days and at different times as well so that makes us all different we cannot all have the same kind of horoscope.
I am a Libra too but I donĀ“t identify with that Sign really not altogether.xxx

No, I don't believe in it myself. I rarely read horoscope myself from the daily newspaper or other sources. You can believe in it if you want, you don't want to believe in it, as you don't want to. It is all depend on you, and whether you believe in it or not. Nothing is perfectly match.

If you use a horoscope and find good things about yourself, believe it. If you find something bad, ignore it. It's that simple.
I follow a rule to do what I feel is right. Irrespective of what the horoscope tells you, if you are very sure of yourself, you'll never fail.

sometimes it seems right on and sometimes not. i think it has to do with time and days of birth and cant be generalized into one horoscope for all. it should be individualized for exactness. so then maybe its right. but most in general covers the regular day to day for some signs.

I do not believe in horoscope. They are way too generic and could be passed off for anyone. You want to convince me it'll have to get down to the nitty gritty and be real specific! Besides, how can "scientists" just add another zodiac sign.. sorry that discredits it even more for me!

Horoscope is something that I regard with curiosity but I really do not take it all that seriously at all. It is an amusing diversion from the sometimes serious nature that is life. It is something that I tend to check out in amusement. It might get me thinking a little bit every now and there, but then again, there are many times where entertainment does do that.
I really do not believe anything in my horoscope. I just find it a bit far fetched to think that anything is predetermined. If nothing else, people read those horoscopes and somehow it subconsciously leads them to perform actions that would match up to the horoscope that was given. I think that is more than possible all things considered. I do believe in self fulfilling prophecy, but not in horoscopes. However, horoscopes can lead to self fulfilling prophecies, given it gives a subconscious trigger that leads to the horoscope being fulfilled in some strange way.

My Zodiac sign gives me a description of myself which is really true. However, with the 13th Zodiac sign discovered, i think i disagree already. I am a former Sagitarrius and now i am Ochuipius. (i don't know if i spell it right)
So that only means what my former Zodiac sign describes isn't me all along . LOL
