False promises, I'm sick of hearing that word.
False promises are poison to me, and I do not want to be disappointed because of that. I hate it. People who do not keep their promises is a part of the people who make false promises.
But why still many people give false promises to me, this is really ironic.
What would you feel if there are people who give false promises to you?

Hi rifnee.
As a very wise man once said Promises are made to be broken. So when ever someone make any promise to me now, i take it with a big pinch of salt. Those who want to do something for you dont need to promise you and those who just want to do lip service to you would promise you moon. Most promises breakers are usually lovers who make such big promises usually with no intention to keep them. you can not do anything about it because who has to stab you in back would stab in back.

Ahh, yes - hindsight is 20/20. Promises are always a part of life, and the way you deal with them will determine how you trust, believe, and live your life. People will not stop promising, be it a friend, lover, parent, child, co-worker, boss, and most other people you interact with. Most of the people in your life have good intentions when promising something, and usually intend to follow through, but situations change, and as they say, "life happens". The best thing you can do is hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst. Try not to let broken promises cause you to become bitter and un-trusting of all people. People will always let you down; that's just a part of life. If you understand that you cannot change people, rather only the way you react to them, then your perspective should improve, and happiness will follow.

I hate it when people make a promise to me and then they break it.I feel that there are lots of people that promise that they are going to do something, or say that they are not going to do something and break that promise.I feel that it is always the same people that break their promises to people no matter what.

I myself don't make a promise if i know that i cannot keep that promise.
So when somebody promises me, i don't really take it as it is. I would think that it's meant to be broken so that when it did gets broken, i wouldn't be too hurt.
When somebody promised me and didn't keep her promise, i would really confront her about it and from then on, would not want to be associated with her anymore. I consider her a cheater!

As much as any sense of affection, affection, love you on your boyfriend, do not you give your heart fully, be reasonable. need to be careful, have good care of myself. usually if still courtship behavior like hiding the original, so you have to good at reading his attitude and nature.

Hi Rifnee, honestly i never angry to those people who gave me a promise not fulfilled then... u know y.. because i don't rely on promises... i don't want to have misunderstanding between us or someone else because of promises not fulfilled... no bodies perfect...

What is the meaning of a word, if the word had no meaning
So it is with a promise, what is the meaning of a promise not kept?
even point was etched, by lies, false, for the sake of ego, really it is a mirror of themselves they are selfish.
then what purpose they make false promises?
whether they want to hide behind the promise?
or ...
behind hypocrisy.

Don't be taken by those who make false promises. Next time someone promises you don't take it seriously, so you won't get disappointed if they didn't keep it.
Tell those who promises you to tell it to the winds. If they keep their promise , then better . Thank them for it. If they don't , just shrug off your shoulder and say to yourself "anyway, promises are meant to be broken" . LOL
