What Puts You In The Mood to MyLot?

I am so in the mood to start myLotting today. I'm sitting in my warm house, directly in the sun's rays. All that's left to put me in the myLotting mood is a cup of tea with some honey of course because I'm suffering from a cold.
What puts you in the MyLot mood?

Interesting posts puts me in the mood..lol Though having sunshine and warm temps would make it so much funner...Anyways, I hope you get over your cold soon; I'm sure the tea with honey is a good start, just don't forget the chicken soup with lots of garlic..:D

Thanks for stopping by! I haven't been here in awhile. I missed ya!
It's weird actually because when I see an interesting post, I might not even respond to it. That doesn't put me in the myLot mood. Not even if I'm bored and I come on myLot, I'll be in th emyLotting mood. I guess I'm a strange one.
And I really thought my discussion would be more popular. Oh, how the times have changed in the months I've mot been here.

It's good to see you too, how long has it been? If it has been real long, you might want to consider what you post. The guidelines are more strictly enforced than it use to be, which is good, it keeps those from posting bad discussions and getting paid for it..So if I were you, reread the guidelines or you might find your discussions deleted.

It's been a few months at least. I shall re-read them. They changed them around? I didn't know that. Maybe they should have given us a myLot notice or something.

Hi Stephanie! I think that your house sounds inviting and
comfy. Hope you get over that cold soon. I am sitting in my
kitchen/office with my oven on to try to warm up my freezing
apartment and making a cup of chamomile tea right now and
sat down at the computer to start looking over my mylot emails!
It has been so cold in my apartment that I don't want to get
out of bed! I live in NYS and it has been horrid this Winter
and we still have so much more left to go! I look for any
reason to turn on the oven to bake and mylot! Since my computer
is in the kitchen I can cook and mylot at the same time so
it really works out pretty well!

The fact that so many are willing to read and discuss along side with me. It amazes me daily that I do learn something new from all the different customs and cultures.
Once I grasp that great discussion, I am all over the place
thereafter.

Same here. If I find that one discussion that is completely awesome, I am here for awhile discussing.
It also amazes that there are so many people on this site and yet no one that I know does it. Strange, ain't it?

Awesome! I wish I could get some referrals. -sigh- Everyone usually openly rejects my invitations. Even when I tell them I got paid. Oh well. At least I tried.

Exactly no one I know offline does it either. Some else too is that I have 13 referrals and not a one is active, even though I held their hands literally and never ever posted anything.
This really gracious member closed their account and re-signed up under me. Now how much love for a site. Lot's!!

Well, whenever I am free, I will go onto Mylot and look at the new topics. If, I am in the mood , I will write on some of the more interesting ones.
If there aren't any that meets my fancy, I will return at another time when I am free again.
So, no hard and fast rules on going onto Mylot.

Ah. Nice idea. Glad you found my discussion one that suited your fancy! It's hard to find good things to discuss sometimes, so I know whatcha mean.

My main draw to MyLot lately is the discussions my friends post. Like yourself, I do tend to gravitate more to MyLot when I am sick (like today) and stuck at home lol

I so understand wanting something and not wanting to drive. Yesterday I had to go restock the house of "sick supplies" and I really wanted a soft pretzel. I figured I'd pick up a box of the frozen ones. Of course, I go to the store closest to the house and they have the soft preztels stuff with cheese and are complete the regular pretzels. What is up with that?
I have been with MyLot for years. I used to come here every day and make about 100 posts or so. Now its just when I feel like coming here.

Well, I really want some sushi, but I don't want to travel about 30 minutes both ways to go get some when I'm not feeling so hot with this stupid cold. I wish I could have sushi delivered to my house today.
I felt like chatting today. I haven't been on myLot in a while and I thought it'd be a good idea to come and visit.

Hmm. I would just want regular pretzels too and not ones with cheese. Although, I wouldn't mind them, but what happened to the regular ones? -sigh-
When I first started here I think in the summer, I would comment so much and wouldn't leave my house, now with school and work, it's a bit harder to devote any time here. How depressing.

Hey there, Jill! I haven't seen in awhile. How are you doing?
I must agree. It seems like a lot of people come here for the friends and the communication. And there's nothing wrong with that!

Hmm well I guess I just get into these moods where I want to mylot. Nothing really puts me in the mood to mylot so to speak, but myself. Now I do like to listen to music, but that's for about anything. I love listening to music while I'm doing something.

I really don't know but I think when I start thinking of things to start discussions or just feel like chatting with people here it is nice and keeps my mind at ease here. Have a good day!

That makes sense.they I rarely start discussions on here unless I'm inspired by something or would really wanna talk about a certain topic. I usually just respond to discussions. But only if they really intrigue me.

Well, a lot of the time I have to be in a certain mood to want to be here. There are many a day that has gone by that I have had the day off, and just find other things to do like promote my Business, keep up with my Email, talk with friends, etc. and not even take the time of day to be here. But for some reason today and actually this last weekend I have been in here quite a bit. It actually helps to take my mind off of things that could be bothering me so I consider it one of my Destressors for sure.

I agree exactly. I can't just come here and want to discuss things. I have to want to. The people who come on here and just discuss things are lucky. I used to be able to do that and now I can't. I guess because I took such a long break from here. Who knows. I consider myLot a destressr for me as well. I don't know why though.

The mood to do mylot? I don't think there is any particular mood or senario I need to mylot. Usually I do my mylotting whenever the mode strikes me. Most of the time it's in the evening or early morning when the house is quiet and I need to do something quiet. And of course time running out to get to pay out gets me here more often as it probably does for most everyone.

The quiet makes me want to myLot too. But sometimes I'll have a dream that inspires me or something that happened that day that I want to talk about, etc. Anytime is really a good time to myLot, if you think about it.

Sometimes i just get that urge to express my opinion. that's when i am in the best mood to participate in mylot. I may begin with one thought which can quickly turn into something bigger and better.

Makes sense. I mean, myLot is a discussion site. We are supposed to discuss things. So, expressing your opinions is a good thing to do here!

I would have to say when the creativity is bursting from the seams. Where I cannot get myself to the computer quickly enough, to string together some quality responses or posts. Where I am thinking about things that I want to say and need an outlet to vent some steam. Perhaps there is something in my day that has just set me off and I just feel in a mood where I need to let off some steam. MyLot gives me an excellent opportunity to do that.
I think a nice, moderately sunny day is the best conditions but it is not an absolute must. I need some good music on the backgroud. Music helps me think and allows the words to flow from my brain into my fingertips, right onto the computer stream. It is like a flow all things considered, where everything needs to be lined up. Still most days, I am in a good enough mood to myLot, although I do admit some days, the mood has passed me.

Interesting! You would think hat a disgusting day out with rain or snow would put you in a good mood to myLot because you'd rather be inside, t hen outside. But hey, to each their own!
And Ihave myLotted with music on before, but I haven't done it recently. I actually don't know why.

Seeing a lot of discussions i responded to, being responded also, puts me in the mood for Mylotting. Most specially when i spotted among my emails a best response notification. It makes me more inspired to do quality posts.

That' sa good way of motivation. It definitely doesn't work for me though. It intimidates me to see all those emails in my inbox. Yikes.
