I had that problem years ago. It prompted me to create a new myLot account for I have attracted a lot of trouble for posting too opinionated stuff. I felt bad about it so I created a new account. And here I am. :)

I think you can not delete your past discussions from Mylot, as they have been already stored in the data bank along with the tags. If they start allowing deleting a discussion soon the data bank will be bankrupted! LOL ! So I think here once we have posted anything then it can't either be edited or be deleted at our wish. The posting I think can only be deleted by the Admin. of this site! May be I am wrong, let us see any friends of ours if will come up with any solution? Thanks !

I think that it's normal to not have the right to delete discussions because those you call "my discussions" have other people answers. But when we know that our words will stay forever here, we should try to be more careful or wise.

Well, i was once thinking of doing that myself for those discussions i started which ever since, got 0 response. It shames me a lot seeing them unanswered for quite a long time already, so i want it deleted. But to no avail, i cannot just find the way and i guess, the others are correct that we cannot delete them anymore by ourselves. It has been on mylot's data base and what we can do is cower in shame! LOL

yes that's true. But those discussions that gets lots of responses would make up for it though. and in addition, those best responses marks i get from discussions i participated on , also boosts me up also.

Honestly I really don't know but the other night I was pondering on how to go about deleting some of the discussions, but I never found anything so I just left it alone. It would be nice to delete some of the old stuff but if I can't it really would not be a bother.
If you do find out let me know, I would be interested in finding out.
