I think "You're Dead" might trump a map with cross hair graphics...

I guess shooting victim, J. Eric Fuller didn't get Prs. Obama's "Come Together" memo. While taping for an up coming episode of "This Week". Fuller apparently didn't like the idea of putting off any discussion about gun control until the victims killed in the attack were buried. He took a picture of Tea Party activist, Trent Humphries and yelled "You're Dead!" Fuller has been arrested, but police say that if Trent Humphries chooses not to press charges, he will be released. The US military veteran and self avowed liberal has been taken to a local hospital for mental evaluation. As a fellow vet, I am hoping that this was just an emotional response to a pretty rough situation. But I'm also glad they aren't simply ignoring a direct threat to someone's life. Personally, I hope he's ok, and Humphries chooses not to press charges. I do think this trumps any vague political imagery though. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/41094534/ns/us_news-crime_and_courts/

Either way, the cross hairs pushed nobody over the edge. I wont entertain the thought as liberals keep saying it so it must be true. This, a direct threat, well I hope the guy gets the help he needs.

Yes, he does need help, but he will probably just become some left wing folk hero and no one will even offer the help he needs.

you are right, he will most likely be the next Bill Ayers. Maybe he can be the czar of something

hi parated I think you are right, it does indeed. Also I hope this Trent Humphries does not pull charges. After what he as a vet had gone through then being shot by a whacko, its probably just an emotional response like you say. We do not any of us know what exactly he might have faced as a military man. War I know does dreadful hings to men's minds with flash backs.I have friend who would react oddly to planes flying over, shiveriong and crawing under a table. He had been badly wounded in the second world war.

I heard about this today and I, too, hope Humphries doesn't press charges. The man went through something horrible and nobody could convince me that he isn't still suffering from it. I think anyone would be a bit irrational if that happened to them--I know I would. All those survivors have to be in their own little hell right now.

But if he starts showing any indications of wanting to put Humphries through the same "something horrible", old war vet or not, they should respond swiftly.
