Although I do not own any cat as a pet, my favourite cat breed is the Siamese. The most famous personality quirk of Siamese cats is their distinctive call, which can be quite loud and haunting, like a baby crying. Siamese cats are also famously playful. They tend to crave attention from their human families, and often resort to elaborate displays of playfulness to get attention. It is said that they tend to get along well with other pets as well. So if you are cat lover, what is your favourite cat breed and why?

Wow!!!My cat is hybird from Siamese cat and tabby. He has tabby cat's face and shape of Siamese. His personality is the same as your description, very playful and outgoing. My husband called him puma because he looked like a puma. Sometimes I even thought he should be a dog instead of cat.Haha...

I don't love cats, but I like them. I like tabbies very much, as they can be very friendly, but in terms of breeds, one of the loveliest is the Turkish Van. They are very beautiful...fluffy; long-haired; all white with a few red markings. They have been famously described as swimming cats, as they are rare among cats in so far as they allegedly like to swim. They are widely seen as almost "doglike", being as friendly and affectionate as they are, and loyal: they are deeply social animals and love to be around their family. They are also highly intelligent. They are delightful and incredible characters, and a joy to know. Way I see it...if you have a Turkish Van friend, you will never forget the experience.

Toygers, they w ere very cute playful and they look like real tigers, Can you imagine having a mini tiger that is meowing. Its so cute. I also like scottish fold, those cute short legs and folded ears is just damn cute, But rather buying an expensive breed cat, I rather peak up a stray kitten and give it home. They were no different from expensive breeds, they can be lovely pets if we can raise them good.

I have to admit that I have a couple of favorite breeds and the reason I love them so much is because they are so affectionate! The Ragdoll and MaineCoon are my two favorite breeds. They are both longhair, though, and I have to admit that I prefer short hair but haven't found anything more affectionate except for one stray cat that I took in that was a mutt. His name was Toby and he was the greatest cat ever! Finding another Toby is an insurmountable task but since I can't find another Toby, I will settle for another MaineCoon or Ragdoll.
