Have you heard about them changing the astrological signs due to the earth changing position and now there is a 13th sign Ophiuchus?
Has your sign changed? Everyone in my families did but me I am still the bull headed Taurus barely my bday is may 13th and that is the new cut off lol. I would love to hear your feelings on the matter my brother is having a real hard time of it and now most of us will need to buy new keychains lol.

That 13th Zodiac sign Ophiuchus had everyone act chaotic.
My gosh! my Saguitarrius sign has now become Ophiuchus. And to think that Saguitarrius description, really fits my personality so well. what now that i am Ophiuchus? I really would like to get the full description of it so i can gauge if it is really me or not. LOL

Yes I have heard of this but according to sources (news and internet) this would apply only for those born from 2009 and up. So since I was born in 1984, I am not affected. But if ever it applies regardless of what year you were born, like you, mine won't change also. I would still be under Pisces. All other members in my family reacted to this. At least before we found out that only those born 2009 and up were affected. All of their signs would change. I think the reason why people react is that we've been accustomed to believe that yes, we are what our signs tell us. We are what they claim to be. That we have these certain qualities that all those under a particular sign have. Well for one, I have identified myself under Pisces a lot. I would read some stuff about Pisces and I'd tell myself "Yeah I'm like that. Cool". So changing a sign means changing a whole persona. Or so it seems. But it doesn't really follow because you are what you are not because of some stars. There's nothing wrong with Astrology. I just don't think we should depend much on what our stars tell us.
But on the fun side of it all, yes, some of us will have to buy new keychains, have some new tattoos, and reinvent ourselves under our new sign. Lucky for me I don't have to change anything. =)

I agree about people getting upset because they get used to a sign stating the type of person they are and I know how easy it is to really begin to relate to them. So all my family is safe from the sign change except baby boy ( not really baby he is 10 lol) cause he was born in 2000. But now he the same sign as me which kind of does fit him better than the old one.

Wow, that kinda made it sound interesting. I was born on 1988 so I guess I'm not affected then. Hey, Its cool to be a Sagittarius! Imagine, a freaking archer centaur is epic! Ironically I dont believe in them but the cenatur as a sign is just too tempting. So whats next, the chinese zodiac adds another animal? Either way, they haven't really affected our lives until we completely believe in them.

To tell you the truth, i'm personally hoping that Ophiuchus is a fake and that it'll go away. After all, I never heard of such a star sign before. What's next, there's gonna be a 13th hour, as in 13:00 PM or AM or something? No, it's best to keep it at the 12 motif, of 12 zodiac signs.
Even if my star sign did change, I don't like it one bit. Being born under the sign of Leo the Lion is something to be VERY proud and confident of. However, if my sign was switched to cancer...that brings up strong connotations to HAVING a cancer, and I just don't see what's so good about being born under the sign of a crab. It feels like a letdown even without a belief in the zodiac. Again, being born under the sign of a sign like Leo is something to have some "pride" in.

I do not believe in the star sign, but I did check to see if it would have changed because of your discussion. It did not.

Wow, this is my first time hearing that the star sign is changing. Could you please give me a link to know the new table? I guess I am still the playful Gemini since my birthday is June 10th.
Why did they give the 13th star sign a name that is hard to say: Ophiuchus? How does it pronounced anyway?

Yes. It looks like I've gone from Cancer to Gemini, from the hard-headed trouble-survivor to the two-faced slither-out ... -er.
I think. Gemini's the 'twin fish,' right?

Besides 'they' have known about it for 2500 years, so it's kind of our choice; yeah? Kind of discredits the whole practice.
