Golden Globes 2011

Yesterday the Golden Globes winners have been announced and while some of them have been expected, others were a shock. A lot of them deserved the awards. Amongst winners: The Social Network, Glee, Broadwalk Empire, The Kids Are All Right, Chris Colfer, Katey Sagal, Jim Parsons, Clare Danes, Al Pacino, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale and Aaron Sorkin.
Did your favorites win this year? Was anybody robbed of the award? Who wasn 't even nominated and should've? Comment with your opinions!

I Am happy with the result in general. i think that all of the winners deserved it. i am sad however at the thought of johnny depp not winning the best actor award. i believe he was really very good and his acting was superb. if there are golden globe winner movies that i am excited to watch it is the social network and the kidas are all right.

I don't agree with Glee winning Best Musical/Comedy show over Modern Family. First off, Glee's getting worse and worse every episode whereas Modern Family just keeps improving.
Second of all, Glee's not even funny. Yes, they have snark courtesy of Sue but snark does not a good comedy make.
Lastly, I just think the show is overrated. Modern Family deserves justice!

Glee might not be the best comedy out there, I agree, but I feel they got the Globe because of the popularity of the show, awards shows are rarely about actual excellence and are becoming more and more about popularity...
I can't say anything about Modern Family because I haven't seen it at all, but I hear it's really good.

I'm so glad Boardwalk Empire got in. I thought Treme might have been there but maybe it was made too recently. Sky Atlantic is wayyyy better than the Beeb!

Thanks for this update. I wasn't aware that the Golden Globe awards were already given. I think that most of those who got the awards totally deserve them. Some are quite a shocker but then again, the awards really depend on the judges, tv ratings and other categories. Congratulations to Glee and The Social Network and all other winners.
