Hey everyone, about a year ago i went on a trip to europe and I really enjoyed Spain, especially Barcelona. Ive heard that if I enjoyed Spain, its a must i go pay a visit to Portugal. Has anyone ever been there? What area of Portugal should I visit and why? thanks

I was in Portugal last march and it was a wonderful holiday. I went to Albufeira and really loved the place and the people. The main difference between Spain and Portugal is the cost, with Portugal being very expensive compared to Spain. I have been to Spain many times and would say that you would spend as much in Portugal during 1 week as you would in Spain during 2 weeks, which was not what I was expecting when I booked the holiday.

I've been to Portugal twice. What interested me most was the Algarve region (south). Great weather, attractive little towns and wonderful beaches. Fun to surf there too. But if you're looking to do a citytrip then I can recommend both Lisbon and Porto. Both are beautiful cities, but maybe Porto is a bit small to spend more than a weekend there.

I hate my country because of the thugs and because of the discrimination. I live in portugal since i was born and i want to get out of here because i have always problems with friends, family and everybody here in portugal
I suffer from psychosis autism and depression and no one cares about me.
i feel lonely but i hope i can earn money fast.
I live in Porto, Portugal and it is not a good state and a good country to live.
we had elections today and cavaco silva won and he remains the next dictactor in portugal
