How long do you leave a rented referral inactive before recycling

if you use bux sites and rent referrals then do you recycle, and if so how many days do you wait before doing so? at the moment i've got autopay turned on and i'm recycling any referral who has been inactive for more than 3 days, but i think that may be a little high. all comments welcome and many thanks to the wonderful Mylot community in advance.
