Hi guys, I just want to ask this in behalf of my dad... for almost 2 weeks he is starting to experience muscle and nerve spasm. Just a day ago he experienced to be in a mental block situation while driving a car, he did not noticed that he is driving so fast as if he don't know what is happening around him.. suddenly he just awaken his senses that he need to slow down. Good thing he was safe. Have anyone also experienced this situation?... Does anyone know what could be the possible cause and treatment for this?..

I agree with ElixBxn... you definitely need to get your father to a doctor as soon as possible! This is nothing to mess around with and you should not wait especially if he is still driving because if it happens again it could have much worse consequences. Please let us know if you find out anything.

He needs to talk to his doctor and to stop driving until he knows what is causing this problem. He could just be overly tired, but he also could have a serious medical condition. He does not want to hurt himself or anyone else being unsafe.

this is the first time i learned about nerve spasm thing and too glad to read your discussion. I experience mental block so many times but that was during college during exam. I also have this mental block when taking examination when i was applying for work and that's it. However, i have not experience what your dad experienced and i believe that is too dangerous to happen in a person. That is serious and we have to take attention to that.
