Recently the ICC decided to celebrate Sachin Tendulkar`s birthday as "World Cricket Day." How far is this decision made by the ICC justified. What are your views and opinions on this matter.

Hi, I think the decision is perfectly right and justified. We in india come across various named holidays honouring unworthy politicians. So what is wrong or debatable about honouring sachin in this manner? We all should be sincerely proud of it. Thanks

I think this is a good move. Not everyone might agree but the way Sachin has played all these 20 odd years and still going strong, the way he dominates the bowlers, and what all he has achieved, not only through the bat but through his bowling and fielding for India has been phenomenonal, and lead India towards many of its victories.
