I love to cook. I make meals from scratch or atleast almost scratch every night. I too love to bake and I tend to bake a sweet treat instead of buying one at the store that way I can try making the new recipes I find.

I am the same, I like to make as much from scratch as I can. I was very shocked at new years when my sister in laws food was all from packets, she made her own steak pie but everything else was from packets like frozen roast potatoes, sorry but they are disgusting! And the dinner was still 3 hours late!!!

If I had to choose from the two it I would have to pick cheesecake. Our favorite cheesecake of all times is the chocolate tuxedo cheesecake. I have only made it twice since it is a bit consuming I don't have to much time to spend baking. I do however love chocolate cake and my old time favorite is a chocolate moose yummy!!!
I am personally a meat lover, I love Ribeye Steaks or churrasco (flank steak) I try to marinade it for at least 24 hours prior to cooking and then throwing it on the grill, those are the best, with loaded baked potatoes and/or Homemade mashed potatoe with a side of veggies. I am also pretty good in cooking chicken, pork and I also make a killer baked potato soup.

Actually, that beef barley sounds really good, I haven't that in years, I might consider making that some time soon.
Thank you for the idea!!!

Anything Italian...that is my speciality....as for baking I don't do alot of it any more except when my little granddaughter comes over..then it's cookies or cupcakes. I made a cheesecake at Christmas and took it to my son's for dessert. Three of us each had a little piece....I found out later he ate the whole rest of the cheesecake by himself!

Wow, I and my son love cheesecake very much. There is one
famous restaurant which served delicious cheesecake in Malaysia.
It is great to know that you love baking. How I wish I can bake
like you
I was only good can frying egg - many varieties though. I enjoyed
eating more than cooking However, my mum is a very
good cook. My second sister inherit her talents.

If you can fry a egg. There's no trouble into making a cake you should buy some cake
mix and all you do is what says on the box and you wont have any trouble and that's what your sister dose there are different types of cakes.are easy to make try some and see what happens.

Oh I should not be on this discussion when I am so hungry!
I make a really good cheesecake with raspberries through it and sliced strawberries between the base and the topping. It is really amazing but very high in calories so I have not made it in a long time.
I also made an amazing roast chicken dinner last night with my own roasted potatoes cooked in goose fat and my husbands homemade pork and sage stuffing.
One of my favorites is a pasta and sauce that my husband and I make, he makes beef meatballs and I make a sauce with tomatoes, smoked bacon, basil, chilli and the best bit, mozzarella cheese cut into small cubes and added to the sauce at the end of cooking so that it stays in lovely gooey bites!!! Another high fat meal which I have not indulged in a while!
I could go on and on for ages here, I love my cooking!!!
