Duplicated Interest?

It seems to be just fine with MyLot. They have set the site up so that anyone can create their own interest category (and there are hundreds of really stupid ones) and they don't appear to want to moderate or delete any (this question was raised some time ago with the Admins and they said that removing or organising interests was too difficult because it would leave some discussions 'in limbo'.) If there are more than one very similar categories, choose the one which seems the most popular (has the most discussions under it).

Just choose what you wanted the most. It's up to you whether you choose all of them or just one of them.

Well yes, there are a lot of different interests listed here in different catagories and such and some of them are duplicated in the different areas as well. I am not sure as to the reasoning behind this sometimes as it could make it difficult for some people to continue to find you. Personally I do not let it bother me, and just continue to post in the catagories and such which works for me the best.

ALL of the interests have been created by myLotters. Sadly some did not check to see if there was an existing interest before they created a new one There is no limit to the number of interests that you can add so just add them all. Then when a discussion is started youwill see the icon at the top of the page and will have more opportunities to learn and earn. There are indeed duplicated interest here on myLot. Just add both if you really wanna be updated on that certain interest. In fact, add just how many you really wanna add. That's perfect for having many discussions to respond to.

Yep I have noticed a few interests that are duplicated. Or at least rather similar to say the very least. I just roll with it most of the time. In fact, I really did not think about it too much until you brought it up. Not that you're wrong, its just something that slipped beneath my radar. Still it does strike me as a bit odd, but whatever. Just something that I have gotten used to.
