of course this is my view...hwta do u like most friends i want to know...this winter vacation i had been to mumbai and also places near mumbai...where we enjoyed beaches and the gardens full with Indian herbs...also we went to see Raigad fort...but among all of them we all...kids and adults all enjoyed the beaches most...no one was willing to come out of the water...the difference in the climate of mumbai and konkan allowed us to play in water...when we returned back to our place...everyone was asking...were you all not feeling cold...but that's the specialty of coastal areas...you can enjoy water anytime...what are your views about beaches?...or what other things you enjoy in nature?...

Hi eshaan,
I dont understand why anyone hasnt responded yet here! Such a nice discussion and something unique...
Beaches are great so are the mountains with green trees. I also love watching the sunrise and sunset at the beach. we stay about 60 Kms from Puri (by road).
But there is one more thing that I would love to see - Snowfall at a hill station - never seen this one in real and would love to see it.
I also love the first rainfall... especially the perfume that arises out of the ground after it... It is so very pleasant.
The warmth of sun-rays during the winters, the rain and the sun together at the same time, the sun and moon visible at the afternoons at the same time, .... I could go on and on and on....
Cheers,
theSids.

Beaches are good but I enjoy mountains more. I prefer to climb mountains. I prefer to walk around.
When I am in the beach, I only bum around and sit on the sand or dip myself in the sea. It is also enjoyable but it bores me after a few hours.
I also prefer going to historical places like old buildings, temples, etc. I like to learn many things about the place, which I can't do when i AM ON THE BEACH.

actually we had both things this time...beaches we enjoyed at mumbai as well as konkan....and also we went to raigad fort which was about 3800 mts above the ground so we had to walk there too much..though we went at the top by rope way..to explore the fort we had to walk more and climb too...

Hi eshaan, really glad to know that you and your kids had been to the beaches and gardens and enjoyed the fun there When having considerable time I like to have fun to places where we could enjoy fresh air as well as beautiful landscapes together with my family. Places where we like to visit during holidays is either seaside or mountain area.
Beaches and mountain areas are the ideal places to let kids to have their physical activities and to get refreshed. Nowadays kids spend too much time sitting in front of the computer and tv. They are busy with their school works as well. They have countless school homework to deal with So it's nice to let the kids to have opportunity to spend time with nature during their school holidays.
Since we live near the coastal area it's quite convenient for us to reach the destination with beautiful beaches and fascinating seascapes. We live in the northwest of the peninsular where there is safe from the monsoon wind so we could enjoy the beach activities throughout the year. The weather of the tropical region we live is scorching all the year round as well and wouldn't feel cold to have fun in the seawater or at the beach at anytime a whole year.
There would be time we visit the resorts available in mountain area. There is a famous mountain resort here. Lots of visitors from different parts of the world could be seen there. Other than the beautiful scenic sites there are all sorts of facilities for visitors to have fun to spend their leisure. Such as casinos, shopping outlets, restaurants where foods of different countries are served. recreation grounds for kids and adults with interesting and exciting games are available. If you like you could watch movies or stage performance as well.
I mostly spend holidays with my kids visiting the beaches for it's very much frugal compared to the mountain resorts lol....We would visit the resorts once in a while to make our holiday rather different as well as to fulfill the wish of our children.
Have a nice day !

Hello my friend eshaan Ji,
It is great plaesure to enjoy beaches. Myu hubby enjoyed many times in 1956-61 at Mariena/Kovalam/Mahabalipuram all along with madras area as I stayed there. After our marriage,he took me to mariena in 1969, and I wa svery much afraid to enter the water. But during 2003-04, while at Miami in US, we enjoyed at Miami and Key-West area, I remember iot was while we crossed 7 mile bridge on the sea. But as I am afraid, I hardly enetered the water. Thanks.
May God bless You and have a great time.

Not only the beach but any body of water. There is something with the water that has a calming effect. May it be in a beach, at the sea, lake, river stream, I feel so relaxed. We haven't got the chance to spend the holidays (Christmas and New Year) at the beach or some riverside cabin but that would be a cool idea. I think I should recommend it this year.

In my country, we have lots and lots of beaches and beach resorts. The sea doesn't bother us a bit unless the weather is not good. Most family gatherings like reunions or company outings like team buildings are hold in the beach. The sun, the sand, and the sea are all appealing to everyone for fun.

The best beaches are in the Seychelles. I have also seen gorgeous looking beaches in the Maldives, Samoa, Fiji, the Cook Islands and French Poynesia. I love white sandy beaches with gently waving palm trees and sea with a colordul coral reef. Today I spent the day on a beach with time for swimming and snorkeling. Now I have some sun burn despite using factor 30 suncream. I love to see the countryside, mountains, rain forests and wildlife. I can enjoy Mother Nature and treasure these experiences.

From the time that I was a young girl, I've always loved the beach. I am hoping that pretty soon our family will be able to go to the beach together. You see, neither of my two children have ever been to the beach and I can't wait to see them experience it for the first time. That said, the other thing that I love in nature is the mountains, which is another thing that we don't get to see on a regular basis in our family.

Hi dear,
Say precisely, 3-4 years now I am on a beach. Even now I can see the sea and sea water and the sunset while sitting in the office, nearly 200 mtrs. away from where I am sitting. Even now, just 2 hrs. back, I gone to the sea side, but really didn’t have the feel of, I am on a sea side. As it may be because it is an everyday practice. Here in Mumbai, Nariman point, near the Hilton Hotel, sea is stretched out but I never felt it so.
Raged is a nice place, I heard of it. Even Juhu beach is also close by. It is so dirty on these days as people used to throw the wastages over there. However, being to some remote beaches are nice and being at the sun set time alongiwth our loving people is a nice experience.
Thank-s

Yes, i love beaches. I will make it a point for beaches, the sun, sand the sea whenever i've got the time. It's a perfect relaxing time for me, whereby i get everything i want right there. I loved soaking up the sun, giving me a nice bronze skin color. I like the coolness of the sea water, feel of the fine sand, as well as the warmth around.

Hi eshan,
You seem to have enjoyed Mumbai a lot. It is nice to hear that you also like beaches. As you may be knowing I am from Goa and from childhood we grow up enjoying beaches. WE used to wait for our summer holidays to go and camp on beaches. It is the most enjoyable and memorable part of the life. Welcome back to mylot.

Beaches are blessings of God. With the palm trees swaying merrily and the music of the waves, its near to heaven. However I have sailed with my family and the charm of the quiet ocean (or the stormy one) is even heavenlier. I say so because all there is, is the sky and the sea, NOTHING ELSE. Not even a bird in sight. That solitude was pure bliss.
