Why are women more vain than men?

Don't you think that's a harsh generalization? There are some women who are more vain than men and there are some men who are more vain than women but to categorize the entire gender based on the nature of a few is nothing short of an inaccurate conclusion. Also I think you need to throw light as to what aspect of women (or men) qualifies as vain.
